Steps were very well packaged and all parts were included. I mounted these in a poured concrete window well as an escape ladder. The mounting brackets keep the steps about 4" away for the wall which leaves plenty of room for your foot when climbing them. These are much better than a one piece ladder that hangs in the well and they look very nice as well. The steps and brackets are very solid and well built. I found that using 2 people to mount them made it much easier placing and leveling the brackets/steps. You'll need a hammer drill and masonry bits for mounting in concrete and I would highly recommend using masonry bits that will cut through remesh.

These would be great for any ladder formation.Yes, it would work tremendously well in a window egress. These rungs are so sturdy!!!I am going to be making a ladder to the top bunk of a bunkbed that is really needed. These steps are perfect for that because they are nice and wide. They are easy on bare feet that way. They are made so well and with very nice materials. I am so happy with them! They are super easy to install and to use.

As others have complained, I too did not recieve the installation hardware or drill bit. I will acquire my own mounting hardware since my installation will not require masonry anchors (my window well is galvanized steel). This project is delayed for now until next spring (I'm injured and will be layed up for a few months) but I did inspect everything and can attest that the components are definitely heavy duty and will provide for a heavy duty and strong ladder assembly.I will update this review once I've had an opportunity to install the product and test it out.

These are heavy duty rungs that are easy to install. They give another point of exit in-case of emergency. They do come with concrete anchors, but better off drilling completely through the wall and bolting it with nuts as as well as a tie bar that connects each rung's bolts together before welding the nut and bolt together for the most secure connection possible. Other than that it looks great.

These are serious heavy duty escape ladder stairs, made of thick steel. If they are securely mounted they will give you access to a basement window, which otherwise might not allow you to escape a fire or tornado damage for example. The brackets stand off the stairs 4 inches from the wall to allow a secure footing which could be important in an emergency. They come with all the hardware for installing them on a masonry wall. This is a high quality product & some might use them for other purposes, as do I. I use them to gain access to my solar panels.I can easily recommend them to you without reservation.

These metal steps are great for an egress wall or for me inside an attic that I need to go down into a hole. I did not get hardware for the steps included, but I would have had to use my own anyway because situations are different. I did not get a drill bit included either, as stated in the ordering page, but no matter, I have my own. These are holding up and holding a hefty person at that, so they are able to handle the weight. If they're not including the hardware just make sure you have hardware that will work for your situation. For the price though, they might double check to see that the hardware is included for several mounting options.
