What a great find. Good quality and works exactly as described.

Best embroidery stand ever. Like the groove where the hoop hardware fits in. It takes a six inch hoop not made for a four.

Have to sit on it to preventing it from tipping over and it was missing a nut for one of the screws

I love the stand it sets under 1 leg or the other it is comfortable and the hoop sets well, it is almost weightless. I'm glad I bought it.

Everything was out together easily and worked well for a couple of days until the knob that holds the height adjustment in place stopped holding well. The height would drop or swing towards me because the knob seems too smooth or something to really grip the dowel.I used electrical tape after talking to others with the same problem and wrapped it around the dowel careful not to overlap the edges making it too thick. This has helped keep the height where I want it though after about a week I have had to replace some of the tape, but it's cheap. Overall I like it, it takes the weight and pressure off of my hand/finger joints which caused pain.*Update after 4 month use*The knob for holding the hoop became stripped quite quickly as there isn't anything actually holding the screw into the wood and the screw would unscrew from the wood while attempting to actually tighten the hoop hold. My partner was able to fix it for me with a nut and new bolt (not entirely sure what he did, just know that now it tightens more than it ever did before and is secure). So there have been several issues with the quality of the build that have been very frustrating. However I don't overall regret the purchase, just wish these issues weren't issues.

I got the product on time. It was easy to assemble right down to the last piece, and then not so much. One of the first things I disliked about the product is that the wood isn’t finished. The product description says “natural finish”, which says to me that there is a finish. This is bare wood. It is nice bare wood, but it has no finish. As I said, this went together well until the last piece. This piece is the clamp that holds the hoop. It Will Not Screw In! In fact, the screw bit is trying to come out the top of the knob—I’ve included a picture. I’ve also included a picture of the clamp—that’s as far as I can get it—and the receiver “nut”—I don’t know what it’s called. Long story short—I can’t get the stupid thing to screw in!!!Where are all of these 5 star reviews coming from?I don’t know what I’m supposed to do with this thing? Put it in the burn barrel, I guess? It is unusable. I guess some of these work, but it’s such a pain when you get the one that doesn’t. And 99 out 100 may be great, but I got the one that isn’t great, and that’s 100% failure for me. Ugh!! 🤦♀️

I bought this stand as well as a stand from a craft store, thinking the craft store stand would be better quality and easier to use. This one was SO much better! I can adjust it to right where I want it, which is kinda important. I wasn’t sure about the “sitting on it” part, but am quite happy with how it works. I can slide it along under my thigh for what distance I want. You can easily flip it over to see from the back as you go.With carpal and cubital tunnel problems, cross stitching hasn’t been an option for a while. I got my right arm fixed, but the left is still unhappy. I got this as a way for me to stitch with mostly one hand and it's been great. I still use my left to move things around, but I don’t need to grasp the hoop right in front of me.Some of the adjustment knobs need to be tightened occasionally, but that’s my only complaint so far.

I ordered this and then didn’t get around to assembling it until after the return date. I wish I didn’t wait because the parts are not accurate and the clamp does not stay closed. There’s no way it’ll hold a hoop so it’s entirely a pointless piece of wood. Really bummed WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.*UPDATE* The company read my review and immediately reached out to me and asked if they could send me a new stand. At their expense they shipped out a new stand that has all the working parts and is PERFECT. Would 100% recommend buying from this company and getting this stand. Thank you for your awesome extra mile customer service. Very much appreciated.

I should have looked more carefully at the clamp on this stand but I was too psyched about the paddle to sit on and didn't really think things through. It's not a bad product, just not what I was personally looking for in this instance. This stand arrives unfinished and is made from a blonde wood that I know will stain easily, so it may be a consideration to put at least a clear varnish on it to help keep it clean. It assembled easily and I appreciate that there was a plastic height knob included with the wooden one, as it seems a lot sturdier and holds better. As a stand it seems to work fine. The clamp, however, is really only built for embroidery hoops, and thinner ones at that - I was hoping to use it with an embroidery frame but the dowels in it are too thick to be firmly clamped. The bolt used in the clamp isn't quite long enough to accommodate their width, and the clamp itself isn't big enough to get a good grip. My work on the frame is just too heavy and it slips out, which is unfortunate as I was able to get a good angle using this setup as opposed to the floor-standing stands that always feel like they're wobbly and in the way.I did try a standard embroidery hoop in this frame and that worked great, so it will be a good option when I'm working on smaller projects.I took off one star for the unfinished wood, as it would be a nice feature if it were sealed or finished in some way.
