I have a 6 lb Chihuahua with weak back legs, he could not ambulate with this wheelchair. I could see how a slightly larger dog with longer front legs could make it work, but it didn't seem particularly comfortable.

My poodle had accidentally from falling off the couch and we found this and she love it because it made it mobile for the time she had left! My lady was a runner to! Couldn’t make the sharp turns but she was able to hit all her gears in this!

This wheelchair for my furry baby has helped her so much. I was able to adjust the back wheel to its highest capacity to better assist and support her back legs. My pet has severe arthritis in her lower back, hips, and joints. But she’s very determined to continue walking then to go for a stroll in her stroller. And even though I limit her walk, to prevent severe pain, this walker has helped her very much indoors and outdoors. Sometimes the screws from the back get a little loose and need to be adjusted. But I feel that this product still deserves a five stars. Very lightweight and easy for me too transfer her into the wheelchair and out of the wheelchair.

Items do not come as pictured. Was this a returned item? There are no tools to help adjust size, as pictured, no instruction guide, nothing to help support legs in the back. Broken side hooks that hold the sling in place. Will return

I was skeptical of how good this wheelchair could possibly be, based on the low price. I even ordered a much more expensive dog wheelchair for the sake of comparison. However, once we received this one and tried it on the dog, we were sold. We returned the other wheelchair without even opening it. Our dog is an 8 pound, 16 year old Chihuahua who lost the use of his back leg's over time. Several years back, we were told he needed surgery to repair luxating patellas in both legs. We went ahead and got surgery in one leg which greatly improved his mobility, at the time. Fast forward to a few months ago... We noticed his back legs would sometimes give out while walking. Sometimes, he could get himself back up to continue walking and sometimes he could not. Slowly, that worsened until he was only able to drag himself around and did not seem to be able to stand at all.We put him into this wheelchair(very easy assembly - maybe took 5 minutes) and he was immediately walking again. After two days in the wheelchair, he has figured out he just needs to bark from his bed to let us know when he wants us to put him in the chair. He is part of the pack again and we are so grateful. He seems happy again! Some things I will mention- at 8 lbs, he is nearly on the smallest settings for width and length of the frame. Another thing I will mention- we are going to try to DIY some sort of wheelchair stand in hopes that it will make it easier to get the dog in and out. I have tried doing it a few ways, and any way you do it - it's tricky. I assume that is likely the case with any dog wheelchair. You can leave the front harness on your dog to wear all the time and then you won't have to hover all four legs over the holes at the same time, while simultaneously holding the wheelchair frame in place. This helps a little bit, but like I said, it's tricky no matter how you do it.Overall, we are absolutely thrilled with this wheelchair. I have no doubt that my dog's quality of life has been greatly improved because of this device. Thank you!!!

Got this today, it’s higher quality than I expected. Super easy to put together, clear instructions, good design and easy to adjust. If you’re considering this and hesitant because it’s such a low price compared to other products, don’t hesitate. I was in the same boat. It’s a legit product.The problems for me are that the XS is still too big in the harness for my little one. If there are front wheel attachments that would probably solve my issue of size.I am having some trouble getting her legs to do what they are supposed to. She wants to straighten them under her and the leg supports don’t prevent that or keep them off the ground so far. We’ve only tried it for about 10 minutes. Maybe better luck tomorrow.Overall it’s a great product that should be an excellent value for anyone needing to help a furry loved one who can’t walk. .

I have a Mexican hairless dog he weighs about 10 lbs. only 6 years old but has disc problems in his back which causes him not to be able move his back legs at all. It was down to what kind of life does he have if he can’t move around. We bought the wheel chair and it has made a world of difference he gets a round pretty well we do use it under supervision. This doggie wheel chair Is definitely worth the money.Well made fairly easy to put your puppy in. It seems very soft and comfortable.
