Hey its an adapter so you can avoid the gunsmith cost of mounting a real solution. This product did what I needed and Im happy. Wish they made a upgraded version.Bottom line is....IF YOU READ THIS FAR YOU KNOW WHY YOU SEARCHED FOR THIS PRODUCT TO BEGIN WITH. THIS PRODUCT WORKED FOR ME AND PROBABLY WILL FOR YOUR NEEDS TOO.

Overall it fit my SW9VE but like stated in another review not true measurements. Had to file and grind one of the rails to get red dot sight to fit. Another disadvantage is now won't fir in holster I carried it in.

Turned the non-picatinny rail on my S&W Sigma SW40VE to a picatinny rail as advertised. Looks great had no issues with installation at all. This thing saved the day!

Waste of money. Fits SD40VE great but lights or lasers will not stay on the rail. Rail is too small.
