ADC's 5110NLV is a full-featured 2.5V Pocket Diagnostic Set that sacrifices nothing but the size. Otoscope features: fiber optics for cool, obstruction-free light transmission; 2.5V AdLED lamp for true tissue color; wide-angle swivel 2.5X viewing lens permits instrumentation; and insufflator port (fitting and insufflator sold separately) for pneumatic otoscopy. Ophthalmoscope features: five aperture selections (small spot, large spot, semicircle, fixed and red-free filter); 19 viewing lenses from -20 to +20 diopters for better resolution; illuminated magnified lens dial; rubber brow rest; and AdLED. Meets or exceeds ISO 10942, ISO 15004-1, and ISO 15004-2. Includes separate handle (AA batteries included) for each instrument head. Hard case included. Two-year warranty on instruments, lifetime warranty on optics. This product is intended for sale to and for use by Medical Professionals/Educators and students who are under the training or supervision of Medical Professional/Educators.

As a retired physician, did have a kit by Welsh-Allen that, after 50 years, quit working. Wanted replacement for occasional use (you know, grandkids). Pricier than most others on Amazon but I think it's worth it. The light is bright and the optics decent.

This is an update to my last review. I received this through USPS and not Amazon delivery. USPS said they hand delivered but placed it in the grouped mailbox for my neighborhood. I think this product will do the job but have not tested it out on a person yet. It is very lightweight and requires 4 AA batteries to work. I'm giving a 4 star because it's lighter than what I expected and I'm nervous about it's durability in practice.

ophthalmoscope came in with something shaking inside and light not coming on . otoscope is fine

The whole set is cheaply made. Had it worked well, I would have overlooked that. The Ophthalmoscope is poorly designed. You can't actually see through the lens when the instrument is braced against your brow and you can't see the vessels and veins inside the eyeball. It's basically a giant, exensive, pen light.

I bought an expensive brand otoscope before I bought this one and I was very disappointed by it. Then I bought this ADC otoscope and was amazed about the quality, the lighting and how light and easy it is to use! Would buy it again any time!!!

The price is very high and does not bring a replacement bulb, so it makes it disposable.It is not worth paying so much for something disposable

Nice bright light!My old W.A. Was dimming and I’m sure it wasn’t my eyesight. This light is bright and of good color. The handles are interchangeable. Great battery life... LED is great!This would be a good affordable purchase for medical/nursing school as well as a replacement. Standard disposable specula fit nicely.
