Scale is great, just what I wanted. I don’t use the carpet, it really doesn’t cover like it shows.

easy to read. cant speak to battery life. It has a furry cover that just sits on top and that is not attached in any way. I am not using it

I received the Adamson A25 Scales for Body Weight - Up to 400 LB - New - 5.3" Dial on 12.4" x 10.2" Platform - Anti-Skid Rubber Surface - Bathroom Scale Analog - Durable with 20-Year Assurance - w/Rug - Grey.WHY I ORDERED THIS: - I got so tired of using a digital scale that always has to have the batteries replaced or resets itself to metric. - I was missing the good ole days where you just step on a normal weight scale and read your weight easily without all the digital nonsense or dead batteries. - When I saw this Analog Scale I got so happy and ordered it!THE GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS: - Pretty easy to use, once you get it calibrated properly. You may need to recalibrate it after a few uses. - Small size does not take up much floor space., so good for people wit smaller feet. - Seems to work well and measures pretty close to our reliable but old and grungy analog Scale. - Accurate reading on flat tile floors, but be ware of the tile cracks or groves though.THE NOT SO GOOD STUFF ABOUT THIS: - The one I got needs to be recalibrated every few weeks. Not sure why. - The dial has a nice layout, but the numbers and the dial itself are really too small. - This Scale may be too small for people with big feet or large people in general. I'm a women's size 10 feet, and it is almost too small for me. My very slender husband has men's size 12 feet and he thinks this scale is too small for him to stand on comfortably. - The carpet that goes on the Scale to keep bare feet warm, does not stay on very well. I don't use it. - When reading on the ad about the features of this Scale, there was conflicting info about 400 lbs. or 300 lbs. But the actual Maximum weight is 396 lbs.CONCLUSION: - This Scale is decent, but a bit on the small side for people with big feet. - It would be much better if it had a larger dial with larger numbers to read easily!
