After using multiple apps for tracking mileage, only to have them be discontinued, or add extra features that just made them harder to use, I've gone back to keeping a small written mileage journal. The Adams Mileage Journal is perfect for this. There's a separate page for each month, an annual summary page at the end, plus a place to track repair costs etc. It's simple to use, and exactly what I need. The small format means it fits easily into a glove compartment or small pack or purse. Thank you Adams for keeping this easy and efficient system available even after so many people are switching to electronic means of tracking mileage.

Yet six months later, I'm still waiting to enter maintenance, oil, and fuel costs into the journal. See, the problem stems from our purchase of an electric car and the free charging that came with it! I guess I'll have to wait another 30,000 miles (or thereabouts) until we replace the tires! Then I'll have something to enter in the log...I can't wait!

I have been using this for years to track my mileage for taxes. It is the perfect size--room for all the info I need to record and nothing more. Small, fits in the compartment in the front of my car for easy access. If I ever get audited, I have the info I need.

Small booklet to record your vehicle use, mileage & expense which you'll need if claiming car expenses for tax purposes. No one wants to be audited by the IRS but you'll need this if they question your deductions. It's a simple & quick habit to develop. A log of where I go every day & to which stores has been invaluable in convincing my bank that charges on my credit cards are fraudulent. A daily hand written log shows where I go every day, thus providing supportive evidence that I have not spent hundreds of dollars buying car gear at auto shops or made a quick trip to California for ballroom dance lessons.
