Your cart is empty.ADAM Audio T7V 7-Inch Powered Studio Monitor The ADAM Audio T7V 7-inch Powered Studio Monitor is a two-way studio monitor designed for upright use in a nearfield application. The T7V features a 7-inch woofer that provides bass extension down to 39 Hz, while the U-ART tweeter diaphragm provides pristine, extended high-frequency response up to 25 kHz virtually unheard of in monitors in this price range. Ergonomics The U-ART tweeter is equipped with a precision waveguide with the same dispersion control attributes as the high-frequency propagation waveguide used in ADAM Audio’s flagship S-Series studio monitors. The waveguide’s highly uniform dispersion of high frequencies provides an incredibly wide sweet spot that frees you from being glued to a rigid mixing position while you work. Mechanism On the rear of the T7V’s beveled cabinet, a rear-firing bass-reflex port is joined by a rugged metal backplate that houses the analog input connections. The U-ART tweeter is powered by a 20W Class-D amplifier, while a 50W Class-D amplifier serves the woofer. These new powers produce an impressive maximum 110 dB SPL per pair. The wide frequency response, high dynamic range, excellent transient response, wide sweet spot, and small footprint make the T7V perfectly suited for use in small control rooms for music production, video post-production, and broadcast production – a great fit for the modest budgets that many facilities need to work with. I found listening to mixes on these studio monitors to be much less exhausting than my headphones. They provide a great flat response and sound great at low volume (I have not cranked them up).

For the price, this is an incredible deal. Getting a crisp ribbon tweeter and 7” woofers in a package with multiple switchable EQ options at this price point is hard to compete with.As for sound, the bass is a little overbearing depending on your setup, but not to the extent that some other reviews might say. Its punchy and clear when pulled away from the wall about 1 foot and with the bass EQ switch in the cut position. The mids and highs are clear and crisp, and I can find and isolate most instruments and voices in the mix very easily.They’re a great upgrade if you’re looking to get into larger monitors, and a great addition if you want to look into adding a new pair of monitors to get a different perspective from your daily drivers.

These beat much more expensive speakers.Pros: AMT Tweeter = detail, cool to the touch amp dont get warm, 3khz dip frequency response.Cons: twitter hiss at idle, class D amp, rear bass port, rear volume control, no standby mode.
