It works great, however I wanted two of them, one for my Well House, and one for Green House. Got them all set up only to find that both monitors are reading from same sensor. They pick the one easiest to read. Does me NO good.

I was a little hesitant given the reviews that were showing how off it was when setting the outside part next to the inside part. But mines only 1 degree off which is acceptable. Working pretty good!

We live in a house that sets up on short blocks and has a crawl space about two feet high. The well pipe pops up in the crawl space about a foot from the insulated wall of the crawl space skirt. We keep an eye on the temperature down there using this remote unit because the temps frequently drop below zero in the winter and we need to check the heat tape on the pipe if the temps in the crawl space go below freezing. The remote transmitter is about half the size of a computer mouse and can be set on a flat surface or hung on a wall or from a pipe using a piece of stiff wire. The batteries lasted over two years and the unit worked for three. I suspect it would still be working if not for a nearby lightening strike this summer that toasted a number of electronic devices we had operating near the house. When we had to replace the set-up, we opted for the exact same unit because of it's simplicity and reliability.

Works great, seems to be a acurite temperture monitor for indoor and outdoor temps. A little smaller than expected, but I like it.

This is a nice little unit for showing inside and outside temperature. I have bought many AcuRite thermometer products over the years and I like their quality. The only issue with this thermometer is the accuracy. I have the inside unit and the outside unit next to each other and also next to my AcuRite weather station in my kitchen. I wanted this remote thermometer for my office. The three unit, within inched of each other showed three different temperatures. The 782 local and its remote temperature were off by one degree, the remote was a degree lower than what the internal unit was showing. The internal temperature of the weather station was two degrees higher than the 782 remote unit sitting next to it. This is not a big deal for figuring out whether I need to wear a jacket or not, but noteworthy that three sensors from the same company are calibrated differently.

Accurite sensors have always had a good solid wireless connection between the sensor and display, and this is no exception in that regard. However, I am not impressed with the accuracy of the device, nor of the customer service.When I first received the unit, I put fresh batteries in both the sensor and display, and set them side-by-side on the dining table. The indoor and outdoor temperatures agreed pretty closely, but the indoor and outdoor humidity were wildly divergent.The outdoor humidity reading was 39% and the indoor reading was 49%, even though they were sitting but 2 inches from each other. I had two other humidity sensors (from a different manufacturer) sitting on the same table, and they both read 48%. Apparently, the indoor sensor is more-or-less correct, but the outdoor sensor is way out of spec - 28% by my calculations. I left them thusly overnight and the readings did not improve.I submitted a support request with Accurite, and received a form response, telling me to do all of the things I had already done (and mentioned that I had done in my support request).I guess this is a pretty good unit for the price, but don't plan to use it for anything more than looking at trends.

Envio rápido por parte de Amazon y en cuanto al producto no son muy precisos en sus mediciones ya que por lo gral he detectado con otros termómetros que esta marca mide de 1 a 2 grados mas de lo que realmente hay de temperatura.

Very accurately measures temperature and humidity, both indoors and outdoors. Indoors, I have a thermostat, and a very accurate dial meter. The AcuRite meter, and the others are all within one degree of eachother. It took about a half-day for the meters to read accurately, so be patient. The display is large and easy to read. The display mode can be set to show indoors continuously, outdoors continuously, or both (but only one shown at a time on the screen for about two seconds before switching from indoors to outdoors and back again, etc...). Two buttons on the back control the display mode, and Cel/Far display. The outdoor sensor easily connects to the display unit without doing anything - just put the batteries in both units, Nice. The connection strength is absolutely amazing. I have my outside sensor placed, in relation to the display unit as follows: through a wall, through kitchen cabinets, and through an exterior cinder block wall, totaling about 15 feet in a direct line, and the connection has full bars. Very Nice. The display also shows when batteries are low. I use rechargables, so that wont be an issue for me. The display unit is small and unobtrusive. It does not have a balance bar on the back like a picture frame, but its base is wide enough and balanced so that it can stand up. So if you want a small unit with a big display, I highly recommend this, especially for what I paid: $13.
