My grandpa is nine years old and he still goes out and blows snow in the super cold weather of Wisconsin. He wanted something that would keep his hands warm while he was snow blowing. He said he worked great. I gave them to him as a gift for Christmas. He needs to charge them not that often and they keep his hands very warm.

I bought these for my teen daughter who was going to the AFC Championship game in KC. I wanted mittens (she be loved in Minnesota and I understand why mittens are better than gloves). She wore them to pre-game and throughout the entire game and her hands stayed toasty warm as long as she clinched her fingers around the heating coil. I believe when the game started, it was 12 degrees and it got colder throughout the evening.

My daughter bought me these heated mittens for Christmas and I love them. I live in the Midwest and our prairie winters have been bitterly cold. Along with the fact that I have circulation issues, you can understand why I might be excited by these. They have saved me from real pain on many frigid mornings as I take my dogs out for their daily exercise.

After an hour of snow shovelling, several seams on the mittens were coming apart and the outside layer of material was tearing. I've sown them up the best I could to get a bit more use out of them. The so-called waterproof layer wasn't very waterproof either. The heating was OK, not very powerful but enough to keep fingers from freezing. The mittens are flimsy and not well made. They may be good enough if you don't need to do anything very physical, like driving or standing around watching a hockey game. Don't waste your money on this product.

These are only for men with small hands, which makes them a great fit for women! The battery compartment, wiring disconnect, on/off switch, and power indicator are nicely designed. I haven't tested the claimed 4 hours with fresh batteries. When not using all fresh batteries, the battery power is good for 30-45 minute walks. The mitten power indicator goes out when there's not enough power, which seems to protect the other batteries. When this happens, you'll need a battery tester to find the one battery that has died. Replace the one dead battery, and you're good to go. The more expensive lithium batteries might work better and last longer.

These gloves came just in time for our ski trip. They are warm on their own even without the heaters. Although the heaters are a nice touch, they make the glove extra tight around the wrist. One of the straps on the gloves tore with only one day of use. The other problem is that the battery compartments don't always keep their electricity running. A few times one glove in one pair would not work. Connection may have been bad.
