How do you rate something that people use everyday? It’s hard because it’s an envelope but I have to say I am very happy with this set. I like to keep different size envelopes on hand because you never know when you need one and what size. Usually I buy cheap envelopes that don’t hold up but these are of good quality and work very well. What I like:-there is no metal clasp, I know with the metal clasp you can reuse but usually those break off and are more hassle-the self adhesive glue strip works well and secures nicely-they are of good quality and lightweight, which helps with shipping costs-I mailed on to myself to see how it would hold up through the mail service, I put 5 sheets of paper and only used the self adhesive strip; no problems with mailing, the envelope arrived in good conditionOverall, I highly recommend this set of envelopes!

Each of these envelopes will hold up to ten sheets of ordinary paper folded in half. Compared to the premium brand 6x9 envelopes I have bought in the past, there are some noteworthy differences. First, while this is almost as big as the brand name envelopes, these envelopes are a couple of millimeters smaller in the length and the width. While this envelope maxes out at ten sheets of paper, I can fit 12 or 13 sheets in my premium envelope. That isn't a huge difference but may be important if you are counting on being able to mail more than ten pages in one of these envelopes. Second, the self-sealing flap is significantly smaller than the flap on the premium envelopes. While these envelopes seemed to seal securely even with the smaller flap, I found myself adding tape to the seal just to make sure it would not get damaged in transit. For reference, the flaps on my premium envelopes are about 1 and three quarter inches (1.75 inches) tall, while these sealing flaps are only an inch tall. Finally, the envelope material itself feels somewhat thinner. It's not so thin as to be see-through, but I would not recommend writing on it with a sharpie or marker - the ink could bleed through. It's fine for ballpoint pen though. For most purposes these should be serviceable, but keep in mind the limitations listed above so you won't be disappointed with your purchase.

My first impression of these envelopes is that the material felt quite flimsy so my question is how it will hold up when actually being mailed. However, despite it feeling flimsy, it's not see through so I don't think I need to worry about my documents showing through. It comes with an adhesive strip so closing should be easy but I have not tested the strength yet.

I must confess. I got these to use in junk journaling.I love the manila color, and find it can easily be coffee dyed. Plus, I discovered on a pack of older manila envelopes (that had gotten water stained) that after dipping in coffee and laying them out to dry on old pieces of wood outdoors interesting patterns developed on the envelopes from the wood itself. This was not something I could have imagined and planned, but now of course I can. You're welcome. My favorite motto is "Never use anything for its intended purpose."

These envelopes are ideal for us to send a variety of paperwork through the mail. They are durable and with their self adhesive strips that keep the flap sealed well you don't have to worry about the contents getting exposed. You receive 250 6x9 envelopes in the package.

These are nice quality mailers comparable to name brands. They are made from a heavier weight paper than ones you find at dollar stores. The self adhesive strips are a nice feature, just peel the protective strip of paper off to seal the envelope shut. The adhesive is very strong and holds the envelopes securely shut. I haven't had any issues with these envelopes getting caught in the sorting machines at the USPS. My labels adhere well to the paper as well. I am very pleased with this product.

Not quite as thick as clasp envelopes that are made to be used more than once, plus you have to tape over the clasp when mailing- these envelopes are perfect for mail use. They are a good size for a half sheet of 8" X 11" paper. The gummed seal makes use easy and efficient and no clasp to worry with. The color is made to stand out for your literature. At 250 count, these envelopes are a good value.

Great envelopes. Nice self seal, so no licking. These are a great size of 6 x 9, and a large pack of 250 envelopes. The paper feels like a nice quality paper which is quite durable and easy to write on for mailing. They are thick and you cannot see thru the envelope for privacy. The color is just your normal brown/yellowish envelope color, This is a great value for the money.
