Although these envelopes arrived with a crease in all of them, it was not terribly difficult to get the envelopes to lie flat. These envelopes are working perfectly for holding my different groups of receipts that I collect throughout the year and need to have handy at the end of the year when I am preparing the taxes.Since this set is a 15 count of envelopes, I have plenty of envelopes to keep my different groupings of receipts separate, and still have a few more envelopes left over in case I need to make another receipt grouping. In the past, I have used just regular 10" X 13" manilla paper envelopes. Sometimes, towards the end of the year, as the envelope is getting pretty stuffed with the years receipts, the envelopes have torn slightly on the edges of the top opening. These envelopes feel tougher than just paper. It almost feels like some kind of cloth has been added to the paper during manufacturing, making it very difficult for the envelopes to tear if over stuffed. This will be extra helpful with the envelopes that, by the end of the year, may very well be over stuffed with multiple receipts.I used a permanent marker to identify the content receipts groupings on each envelope. The envelope material is thick enough that the marker writing didn't bleed through the paper at all. These envelopes would also be perfect for mailing packets that include multiple sheets of regular letter size paper. Since the materials these envelopes are made with is extra strong, any papers that you may need to mail that are very important have a better chance of not getting damaged during the mailing process.

These 10x13” envelopes are more expensive than manila envelopes, but worth it if you need the extra strength and abrasion resistance that Tyvek provides. Even though Tyvek envelopes have a strong tensile strength, they’re flexible and lightweight. They’re moisture-resistant and dustproof, and yet they’re breathable. These envelopes have peel-and-stick adhesive so sealing the flap is quick and easy. They hardly add any weight to what you're shipping, which saves on postage, but they are quite thin so they’re best for mailing papers, booklets, calendars, custom t-shirts, baby clothes, hot pads, and other flat or soft goods. You can use these Tyvek envelopes at home to store important documents or mementos, as they will be more protective than manila paper envelopes. Tyvek is inert and has a neutral pH, so it's archive-safe and will last forever without tearing or turning yellow. Plus it’s lint-free, resists soiling, and won’t absorb oils or grease. When holding a Tyvek envelope up to the light, it’s slightly see-through and you can see the randomly-laid fibers running through the material. This 15-pack of Tyvek envelopes is worth having on hand for various uses, but if you’re going to mail products in them it would be better to get the larger pack.

Tyvek is my go to material when it comes to shipping out documents. I can rest assured that the envelopes won't get ripped, torn, or mutilated in shipping. You can mark envelopes as non machinable but that is no guarantee they won't run them through the machines. I've had numerous envelopes ripped right apart when I don't use tyvek. These envelopes are made well, can hold a nice stack of documents and even magazines, coloring books, etc.I recently started mailing adult coloring books to the nursing home in these and they arrive in pristine condition. They cost more than regular envelopes but are well worth it with the protection that they offer in transit.Address and shipping labels stick well to the surface of these also as well as ink stamps.

Typical Tyvek envelopes that are very thin but lightweight, waterproof, and tearproof. Address with stick on labels or permanent markers because ballpoint pens don't work well. The seal is good and permanent.

Good envelopes for document mailing or even organizing and storage. These are tyvek envelopes, so they can take handle weightier documents. They are thin and light, but this material is very sturdy, so it won't rip and is resistant to moisture. The envelopes are a good size, as the 10x13 can fit the standard 8.5x11 size documents, folders, etc. comfortably. Recommend!

These have a very high quality look, and a nice, smooth, strong feel. They are not see-through at all. I was amazed when I weighed the envelope to find that it was much lighter in ounces than then other plastic mailers I’ve used for sending clothes. These actually seem sturdier while being lighter which is a win-win for me. However they do cost more than the plastic. When shipping I would choose these on items that are close to going over a certain weight and it would be well worth it considering the strength improvement and weight savings. I think these would be handy for books to go over bubble wrap to keep the weight down but still offer strong shipping protection.
