One of the Youtubers I follow had a video compiling the seven "must-have" items for a productive desk workspace, and a book holder similar to this was one of the recommended items (although his was wood rather than acrylic and didn't fold flat like this one). I hadn't known these products existed, so I sought out this one. It has the same springy metal bars that hold the book's pages open, freeing your hands to write or type notes while referring to the contents. The clear acrylic material doesn't really matter to me, as I was more concerned with functionality. One big advantage of choosing this one is that it folds flat, allowing me to tuck it away in a desk drawer when I'm not actively using it. In my opinion, this book stand has a fairly elegant design and provides incredible value.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Aesthetically pleasing and I love the style; however, it wouldn't work for any of my books or magazines. It was rubbing too close on the pages, so I had to remove them for fear of ripping the pages. I am trying to figure out another way to use it because it is so nice, I have to use it. Just the right size! The clamps easily hold even thick books open. Lightweight, easy to collapse, and clear acrylic is easy on the eyes. Even the kids enjoy using it while reading thick textbooks so their hands are free to take notes. May need to get another for the family to share!

I absolutely LOVE this stand!! I decided to try it for displaying my vintage modified playstation actually and so happy it actually works. The wings hold in place VERY very well. The base is crystal clear and clean. Also the fact that its adjustable to different angles is so great and unlike many other stands I've seen on the market!

I got this because I will be starting law school soon and need a book stand to hold heavy casebooks open.I love the acrylic design as it matches the rest of my desk decor (white and acrylic) so it’s super cute and aesthetically pleasing. It does its job and it also lightweight making it easy to move around to different places.

This acrylic book stand has been a game-changer for my desk setup. I use a lot of reference books while trading, and now I can prop them up right next to my screens without taking up much space. It’s sturdy, clear, and adjustable, so I can easily glance over while keeping my hands free. Great for cookbooks and tablets too, but for my trading setup, it’s perfect!

Love this!! So cute for holding open a cookbook or something for decoration. Love that it’s acrylic so not super noticeable and doesn’t stand out.

This book stand is great for books that are not too thick, like workbooks, student manuals, or large, thin cookbooks. The ledge that the book sits on is a little narrow for a large cookbook or college texts. You need to lower the height of incline for them. The page holders are very strong and do a good job at their task. The size (9.6 x 12.6 inches) is almost the size of the standard home cake pan (which is 9 x13). There are several adjustment slots to raise or lower the angle of incline. This is very strong for the delicate impression it gives. I have only tried my 14-inch computer on it, and that works well. This can be used in the office, kitchen or on a flat surface in your lap.
