This item is just what you need if the float on an older Ford fuel pump has a hole or a crack which makes the fuel gauge read empty no matter the fuel level.

Perfect fit for a 1977 continental, as well as most Ford cars of this era. All the braising was done correctly, and the seals were solid. Overall good product, and at a decent price.

Just got the float installed in my Ford Econoline fuel tank gauge. Fit perfectly and my gauge works again. The old float apparently had a crack somewhere (not visible) as it was full of gas. Good product.
