I don’t think these are truly SS but they’ll certainly work for my needs and the price is right. FYI, the stud takes a 8mm x 1.25 fine nut (not included).

I bought these for use in harsh outdoor conditions so I needed stainless steel. Contrary to the description, these ball studs are not made of stainless steel. Magnets stick quite strongly to these studs, and I was able to magnetize them. These appear to be simply chrome-plated steel.
