It took sometime to receive item, was delivered later than stated. Had to file claim with fedex. However, after the item was received it worked great for my sons room. There is plenty of room between the top bunk and ceiling. The bed arrived with damaged pieces. My husband put together in about 45 mins with no issues. Instructions can be hard to understand as they are limited and pictures are. Still we managed to put it together without much trouble. I giving three stars as it is difficult to change the bottom bunk from a couch to bed. I can’t do it by myself. It’s very stiff like and does not move easy. It takes two of us adults to do it. If it wasn’t for that I’d give five. Still works and looks great. I’ve only had it a week so I can’t say as to how it stands up over time.

Super easy to assemble. Definitely sturdy a d well worth the money. Only down side is that it took forever to get here.

Bed great, shipping was a nightmare. First bed looked like someone parked on it. Return protocol was easy with manufacturer, ungodly with the shipping company. No communication withe the shipping company. Got off phone with manufacturer with a call this number and they will pick up. The shippers were knocking on my door as I hung up the phone. However the guys who offer the bed were super helpful. I will ask who is shipping this on any future freight shipment. I will not buy if they use the shipping company I had this time.

Super wobbly, and not well made. Squeaks awful when your on it, and feels like it’s going to collapse.

We bought this bed only about 6 months ago and it’s already unsafe to sleep in. No matter how often we tighten it, it squeaks and “bongs” with every movement. My daughter is only 100 pounds and the bed sounds like an elephant is rolling over in it. Plus, the stair rungs are super skinny and really painful on bare feet. We cut a pool noodle and taped it around the rungs which helps. Also, the futon mattress doesn’t stay on. It keeps sliding off when the bed is in couch mode so we just keep it flat, defeating the purpose of the whole unit. We are renting a dumpster in the spring and this is the first thing that’s going in. What a terrible waste of money and materials!

Very satisfied with the customer service ACME provided. Product is great, I read all the reviews about people saying it was difficult to assemble and was not sturdy.....not true! My son and I assembled it in 1 hour and it is built well. Will be looking up ACME for the next one for sure.

Solid bed, it does squeek a bit, nothing major. The part that worries me most is the minimal welds on the mattress crossbars, they should include a weight rating for top bunk.

Decent bunk bed. Came slightly damaged with some of the white paint scratched off but it's at the rear of the bed so I wasn't overly concerned (especially given the price I paid for it). Relatively easy to assemble (requires more than one person but I got my 7 and 17 yr old sons to help!) It's a bit creaky and wobbles ever so slightly when my son climbs in and out of it (I wouldn't dare try climbing it and I'm not particularly heavy). Top bunk is good for someone under 100 lbs.

No problems with the bed at all. I'm a senior citizen and put it together by myself (except for one part and needed my husband to hold the part up while I screwed the parts together). I used some "lock-tite" stuff on the threads and found the bed to be pretty strong and, according to my granddaughter, "it only wobbles when I try and make it wobble". I would have given this 5 stars except I was not impressed with how the whole delivery process works. You get one set of instructions and updates from Amazon and another from the delivery service. If it hadn't been for the delivery service sending me a postcard I think the bed would still be sitting in lala land since Amazon didn't share my contact info (email or phone) with the delivery service. Not sure I'll order anything large from Amazon again.

The bed doesn't come with the futon so it is just metal frame ! Would not bought it if I knew that. Disappointed !!!
