I haven't had a chance to use them yet but if they're as good as the other accusize tools I have then they are excellent!! They look really well made.

I recently got my hands on this set of boring bars and wanted to share my thoughts on it. First off, the round shanks really make a difference. They offer a flexibility that I hadn't experienced before, allowing for both positive and negative rake settings. It's one of those features you don't realize you need until you try it out.I also found out that the chip breaker is a fantastic addition. No more dealing with long, annoying stringer chips. It’s a time-saver and makes the whole process cleaner. Another plus is how easy it is to present a new cutting edge by just indexing the insert. I didn't need to worry about removing the tool from the chuck or tool post, which saved me a considerable amount of time.The set's specifications mention a positive rake of 90° lead, which I discovered works great for my needs. The carbide grade specified as C6 is suitable for both steel and alloy steel, which covers a lot of my tasks. It's really nice not having to second-guess whether I'm using the right tool for the job.I had the opportunity to try out the 1/4" I.C. carbide inserts, and they fit all the bars without a hitch. The radius and key details, like the 0.015” radius and the T8 key, are also good to note. And with eight pieces in the set, I felt well-equipped for various projects.In conclusion, this boring bar set has been a solid addition to my toolkit. The features, especially the round shanks and chip breaker, genuinely make a difference in the quality of work and the ease of the process. I'm glad I tried it out and would recommend it to anyone in need of a reliable set of boring bars.

I had a whole bunch of interference fit bushings to fit and needed to use my boring head in the radial arm drill. These made it a breeze.

This is a great set of boring bars. The quality is great for the price and they cut well. I've seen a poor review on these boring bars complaining about stripped screws. The screws holding the inserts are definitely short so don't overtighten the screw. By design, the screw should only be snug. I highly recommend this product and brand.

I like the variety of lengths and diameters so you can eliminate chatter and bore smaller holes. They would be better if there was a flat for a set screw but it's easy enough to mill one. The scale on the shank is a nice feature but could be bigger and easier to read. All in all I'm happy with my purchase and would buy again

Inserts fit well and cut well. I build custom knives from bar stock steel and use my mill for shaping steel and handles. Works great for my needs.

Best part was price. But , you get what you pay for. They work but may require some modification depending on your application and setups. I milled a holder for it to set it on the tool post. Some may not have that option. If the top of the bar were machined flat it would fit in a post ok but they’re not.
