Paid 500 to have this installed. Radiated refilled and car put back together. Part was defective and it ran like crap. Had to pay to have it taken back apart and purchased the MSD Opti. No problems getting a refund but still out labor costs

The quality level on this unit appears to meet or exceed the nonexistent OEM Opti. No problems with installation and it resolved a crank / no start situation that is all too familiar to Vette Owners. I'm interested in seeing if the service life exceeds 50k miles which is where my Opti "died"...

The description was incorrect. The product does not come with the vacuum hose attachment as described. This fit on a 1993 Corvette LT-1.

Got a bad AC Delco unit, replaced with this and it's working fine. I don't notice that it runs any better but it runs.

This was my third opti after the original failed after 70,000 miles. First tried $79 new one, lasted about 17 months. MSD lasted 2 weeks. Put on the Accel , didn't make it a year. Currently starts and runs well for 15 minutes and stops cold. After a few hours does the same thing. Doesn't miss, bang, or pop, just stops. It's about $300 labor and $276 for the part. It's out of warranty so another opti a$ job. Debating what to replace it with. I will update after the car is running again.
