this worked good for my accel distributer. i burned out the last one because i forgot to ground the coil to the cap properly on start up. it also came with sufficient amount of heat distribution gel.
A inexpensive way to protect your Radiator.

Don’t waist your money. Breaks up bad after 6500RPM. Not change at all over a $7 stock HEI module.

I converted my distributor to HEI back in the mid 1980s and the Accel ignition module just went out.It was an easy replacement and I got my Nova back on the streets.The only bummer is that the part is now "Made in China".

I've heard good things about this module. I installed it and within 20 minutes, it overheated stalling my car.IMO the thermal grease that came with it is bad and/or too little. GM Modules come with twice the grease, and a much thicker consistency.I will try again and use my own thermal grease this time, and will give it more stars if it works out. For such a high performance piece of electronics, Accel should supply much better thermal grease, which is SO important for these HEI modules. In addition, even if you have enough, poor thermal grease won't last more than a year or two. Quality thermal grease can last 8 years. If you buy this module, buy some quality thermal grease on your own!Follow up, used my own quality thermal grease, it seems to be working fine so far.

I was experiencing some hesitation in my 1972 cutlass supreme. No amount of tuning would help.Figured this was the issue and This high quality module solved the problem immediately! This is a great brand and was shipped quickly.
