Glad I found this...saved me hundreds of dollars vs calling an A/C repair. Works great so far! Even if it fails later...was worth it to get my AC up in this heat wave we're having out west!

This works as advertised Make sure you are buying the correct one when you are replacing it for your air conditioner I replaced mine in a pinch and it was a lot smaller than the previous one however this one is just as good and works just as well. 6 months later and it's still going strong.

I purchased an Emerson 2HP Square Flange Pool Motor from Amazon less than a year ago and it just stopped working. I found a video online which suggested it might be a faulty capacitor. This item matched the old one so I ordered and fitted. I am pleased to report my pump motor started up immediately. This is literally a 5 minute job even for a DIY challenged person like me but make sure you turn off the power at the breaker first. I just hope it lasts a little longer than the original.

Our fan motored stopped and we ordered this to see if we could fix it on our own. It was affordable and arrived the next day. Was exactly as pictured and terminals are clearly labeled. Unfortunately, our old capacitor was so rusty that we couldn't make out what each wire was previously connected to and had to guess. We did end up having to call a professional out but the capacitor is functioning well!

AC went out and the first thing I always check is the capacitor. Got this one for a fraction of the cost compared to the local hardware store and it worked just as intended. AC back up and running and I'm a happy camper! Will see how long it lasts but it's done the job for now.
