How to get the most out of Hooflex Magic Cushion
STEP 1
Clean the frog and sole of the hoof well so the Magic Cushion can adhere directly to the hoof. Be sure to wear disposable gloves when applying Magic Cushion.
STEP 2
Pack Magic Cushion by working it into sulci of the frog, then covering the frog and sole. Start with a golf ball sized amount, then add more if needed for large hooves.
STEP 3
After packing, lower shod hooves into saw dust or shavings to seal the Magic Cushion. Barefoot horses will need their hooves wrapped after application for best results.

My horse has extremely janky feet that are super sensitive. I use this stuff fairly often and it works wonders. Pulls any heat out of the foot overnight and keeps my guy moving good.

The original version was a nice putty and packed into the hooves nicely. This version was so runny that it was extremely hard to get to stay in the feet. I had to use a lot of shavings to get it to pack the hoof, and it was so sticky messy.. I had an awful cleaning it off of unwanted areas.That being said, this stuff is a miracle and works like a charm!! My horses battled a stubborn abscess for a week and this helped end his pain from that. Within 12 hrs he was sound.He also had a couple instances of foot soreness in that same foot, but I immediately packed with this stuff and he was good to go the next day with no abscess developing.This is a must have in my horsey medicine cabinet- but I think when I rebuy this, I’ll go with the original again because I like the consistency better. Way less messy.

I had a 3 legged lame mare after a hot nail. No improvement after a week of stall rest. 24 hours after using this with a boot for added support she was walking better. After a couple days, significant improvement. It’s messy (wear gloves) and it stinks, but it’s amazing. When using with a boot, only needed to repack every 4-5 days. Without, every 2.

My bearfoot horse was trimmed a little too short and my vet recommended I try this to pack my horses hooves. It is used to draw inflammation, heat, and infection out of the hoof, while it strengthens the the hoof. When I first got it, I used it to pack sore feet. Now I put a thin layer over the bottom/sole of my horses feet to prevent thrush and soft spots. It works great and they don't chip anymore : )
