It has the same smell and texture as mineral sunscreen. My hands feel slightly chalky. Absorbed very quickly. It works well as a cuticle cream, but not as a moisturizing hand lotion.

This has become my go-to for hand lotion for years now. It soaks in very quick, and more importantly it doesn't leave a residue that makes a mouse or keyboard, (or whatever else), feeling slimy or slick. It even gets a "Wife's Seal of Approval," for scent and hand conditioning- so it's got that going for it too.

Mane n Tail is the best and I've recommended this to many people over the years and have kept a few on hand. Hence I didn't even look at the size of the tube and was sooo disappointed at this teeny tiny tube compared to what was formerly a good size product.....c'mon guys at Mane n Tail - pls go back to reasonable size and pricing for your loyal clients......

This lotion works great & I highly recommend it for strengthening nails. It’s literally the only thing that has ever worked for me & I’ve tried tons of different products. HOWEVER… don’t buy it from this seller!For the price & from the photo, I thought I was buying the larger bottle. I was highly disappointed when I opened the box and there was a TINY bottle inside. Like sample/travel sized. Last time I ordered some of this from Amazon, I got a larger bottle for less. Shop around.

OMG I have been searching for this product for years! I looked into my medicine cabinet and saw I had an older version of it which I filled with coconut oil. I mean I've tried everything, heavy moisturizers, you name it I tried it and nothing worked, but this product does! My nails are healthy and growing and I am just so happy I found this product! For you ladies out there you have bad nails you've got to try this stuff!

Love the product...The size 50 - 1 ounce??? Was actually1 one ounce tube... Not at all what I was expecting... not worth the price

Not much of a scent at all, which is much appreciated. Residual texture/feel on my hands was nice—not greasy or sticky. Unfortunately I had a bad reaction to it and my hands got super itchy (I have really sensitive skin); though I don’t think this is a problem with the lotion. The price (almost $9 when I purchased) is pretty steep for such a small tube, so I wish I had been able to at least find out if it worked well!

This product is absolutely amazing. You will not believe how well it works until you try it. I originally found out about the Hoofmaker hand and nail therapy as a sample on a bottle of mane and tail shampoo. I will never turn back.
