Disappointed the carry case is so small; I had hoped to add items like batteries, etc. I would have added other emergency items (surgical gloves, additional rolls of tape, etc.) Products made from cheap materials & not confident they will hold up with use. Didn't find expiration date on any of the contents. Cost of product in line with similar products. Won't purchase again.

My son just recently joined his local fire department. We purchased his product to keep in his personal vehicle in case He responded to an emergency while traveling. This product is the best so far for value. I have bought 10+ different ones for review. The tools are generic they are the same as in most kits. The flash light is way better than others I have gotten in. The other kits always has q-tips for 50 of the items which this one has a slightly negative. This has cotton balls. Which are way more handy as they can be used for a lot of different things even fire starting. For 34 ish bucks. This is a good kit. It does have a larger Molle pouch than others if you compact the cotton balls and re sort the items can fit a lot more in it easily. Good job on this one.

Excellent first aid and survival kit that fits perfectly in your trunk. While one hopes they never have to use it, it comes with pretty much every conceivable tool and first aid supply imaginable. Pretty impressive.

Obviously at this price, some of the items are cheaply made. However, it is quite the survival kit in a relatively small package. I keep it in my vehicle. There are quite a few useful things like a firestarter. It contains a knife, like I don't have enough of those. All in all it is pretty good for the price. If you want a better kit, spend more and you will get it. Most of the items are useful. The shovel is smaller than I would prefer, but it is so to fit in a compact package.

So for those who have been scouring, Amazon reviews to find the right survival kit, and just need to know if you should buy this one, over another, and this is your budget, then just buy it, something, anything is better than nothing in an emergency! But I recommend you add to it as you see fit. However, if you care to read on and find out more about this kit, and what you really need, keep reading.I’ve been wanting a survival/bug out bag for the past few years. But I wanted it to be organized and easy for anyone to use. So I invested a bunch of items, food for about $1,000. This includes a Rhino Ready bag for 2 people, as an organized starting point, and added on from there. But then I thought, what if I’m in my car and something were to happen and I couldn’t run home to retrieve my bag. That’s why I purchased this bag. It’s small enough, and it’s a starting point, but boy is it unorganized! Is it full of cheaply made products?, yes, it is, but as you can see compared to what you really need to spend, it’s a far cry from that investment. And it’s a starting point. If anyone cares to know what I’ve added, I’ll include the list below. Some items are to make it more organized and readily recognized, especially the first aid gear.
