So happy to find these after trying others that didn't work on thinner china/porcelain, even though they should have according to their specs. Not as accurate as tools in a studio I used to work in, but they work well enough for me to complete my projects! YAY!!

Glad my glass tile cam with an piece that was messed up. I tried this out, then tried it out again and again. Good Thing. It only can cut straight if you get it perfectly lined up. It also takes allot of arm strength which is something I'm lacking on one side from surgery.Buggered a couple of pieces but without this tool, I wouldn't have been able to do the tile at all.AND IT CUTS FLUSH! (just not thick)

These cutter pliers are not that big but they get the job done! Sharp, easy to use and excellent value for the money. I would recommend having these as part of your tool set.

These tile nippers do a good job on the ceramic tile I have been using and cutting. They are made of chrome vanadium and have so far held up just fine. The length makes it easy to put a good amount of force to help take bites out of the tile. The end has so far not had any visible damage develop from the few months I've used it so far. Would recommend.

I am using these nippers for some art work to cut glass and caps from medication vials I collected at work. Instead of throwing them away they are being placed in a bag. The bags are set up in a couple of places. I figured it would be better to recycle than to add to the landfill. The nippers work well on the items of the same width as the jaw. I have to make two bites if the item is wider. However, this tool makes it pretty easy. They are really strong and easy to use.

Suckered again by the perennial Amazon curse of inaccurate ad copy.For the price these are not bad chrome vanadium (that's steel) nippers, but they do NOT have carbide tips as stated in the item description. I'm not returning them as I need them now, but I'm back on the market for carbide tipped nippers.I see now another reviewer also noted these aren't carbide tipped. How unfortunate that one has to dig deep into the reviews to try and deduce when the ad copy is way wrong.

Couldn't have completed our project without this. The blade is very sharp which made precise cutting easy. The length of the handles is best suited for large hands. Being a woman I had to open the handle then "walk" my fingers back to close the handles with enough force to break the tile properly. A little practice and I got the hang of it, but it would be nice to have an option for smaller hands!

Like the headline says I bought this tool in order to pull the nails out of the back of trim pieces so I could re use the trim. Saved me SO much work (anyone who says you can hammer them out the front of trim wants to destroy the trim, anyone who says you can pull nails out the back with a claw hammer is delusional). This tool is sturdy and works very well. Some of the softer nails I accidentally cut because the nippers are very sharp! I am very pleased with this purchase.
