This set works well for most steering column repairs. It has both the steering wheel puller and the press tool to service GM steering columns

This was a fair price for a wheel puller and getting to the cylinder locking mechanism with ease. I didn’t try to pull any more aggressive components of the engine but this kit appears to be sturdier than others I looked at

I now own this fine tool in a case. It has everything I need to pull a steering wheel off several model cars. Great value to my tools

Has everything you need to pull and work on a steering column. No more going to Autozone to rent this from teenagers who have no idea what a steering column is.

My assessment is that the sizes of the threaded parts needed marked as to the sizes . Metric or Standard? That’s a needed detail

I used this to pull the steering wheel off of a 1999 Chevy Monte Carlo because I needed to replace the turn signal switch. Like most people, I wasn't wanting to spend much money on it because I figured this may be the only time I ever used a steering wheel puller because removing steering wheels from cars isn't a hobby of mine. It should be noted that if you are attempting a similar project, the lock plate compressor is a must have. So the fact that this combines both the puller and the lock plate compressor for a reasonable price is a huge bonus. I read other reviews that talked out the bolts not working but it worked perfectly for me.

This item works great for the price. I purchased this item for use on my classic GM cars. The reason it doesn’t get 5 stars is because the listing said it had the pin tool for tilt steering wheels but it doesn’t. Even the sticker on the tool case claims the pin tool is inside. From reading other reviews, and looking at the photos, I knew the tool was not included before I purchased this item. The seller needs to fix this misprint ASAP. The washer that goes between the nut and the locking plate tool is not hardened tool steel, so I recommend putting a drop of oil on it when compressing the steering wheel locking plate. For the price, I am pleases with this tool.
