Quick and simple to read color comparisons. Assuming the indicators are in working order it’s nice to know the tap around here is in the safe green area for what’s included in this test.

I have well water with iron in it. You can taste and smell it. I haven’t had the water professionally tested in several years so I decided to test it myself. I used these strips 7 times and they showed nothing in the water. Simply not possible!

There isn't any information about what are ideal results. I tested my old counter filter, the new filter and tap water. I couldn't tell much difference. I suspect that they are all scam.

At 36 cents each, you owe it to your health to have these on hand.Maybe you haven't used testing supplies and are a bit intimidated.....well, let me reassure you.All you need to do is dip the strip into the water sample for a couple seconds, shake off fluid, wait for thirty seconds, and compare the results to the color chart on the bottle.That's it! Knowing your water quality wherever you go will give you PEACE of MIND.

This seemed to work well. I tested our tap water which was fine, then tested water from a little creek to see if it would be different, and it did show some bacteria, so that made me more confident in the first test. The directions were easy to use.

I love these test strips. They were used to test my fishtanks and our water which comes from a well 70 feet deep. After many tests. The strips were always very clear to read and constant on results.5 star.

I have a professional lab test of my water. I use these test strips to test the performance of my treatment system. I test when the filters are first changed, and the system regenerated, and just before it needs to be changed to ensure that I am getting consistent results. Inconsistent results would indicate an issue that needs to be addressed.Overall, the tests are accurate except PH. PH I have a calibrated meter and found that these tests were always low. The test would read 7.2 when my calibrated test equipment tested 7.7-7.9. Another thing I found was that the color of the test pads was not always uniform, which could lead to some misreading.Here are my actual water parameters. The test sample was taken after my water softener so you can see that the softener is doing its job and taking out all the hardness. You can also see that it does read accurately on the sulfates (which cant be filtered without a separate system)TEST PARAMETERS TEST RESULTS LEVELS (MCL) (in mg/L)ODOR NONE NO MCLTURBIDITY 0 NO MCLCOLOR 0 NO MCLPH 7.81 NO MCLNITRITE NITROGEN NITRATE NITROGEN CHLORIDE 15 250 mg/LHARDNESS 900 NO MCLIRON 0.09 NO MCLMANGANESE 0.11 NO MCLSODIUM 88.2 NO MCLSULFATE 657.1 NO MCLLEAD Overall, these test strips will screenspot check your water for issues. They are a great tool for checking the performance of your treatment system. However, for the safety and potability of your water, rely on something other than these types of tests. Get a professional lab test for that.I gave them 4 stars since the PH was not accurite and the test pads did not always produce even colors.
