First of all the overall design is great. I have used it numerous times and it works flawlessly. The only downside that I have seen is that the bolts are too long AND somehow they have a way of working loose. I lost a nut somewhere along the highway. When I checked the others had all worked looser than hand tight so beware. I had to buy a nut to replace the one that was lost but otherwise all is well. Might consider loctite if you do not have to adjust them for different kayaks.

There is not much to dislike. They are very easy to remove and remount....no one wants them on going through the car wash. The ratchet strap pattern was a little hard the first time but was easier on subsequent mounts and dismounts. The 10 foot was unflinching and quiet as compared to the J-hook rack we had before.

I just installed these on a trailer project to hold my Nucanoe F10. They went on VERY easily and seem sturdy. Once I have them configured to my liking I'll probably use Locktite to make sure they don't come loose. I'm impressed with the quality of the materials used, and I think these will fit my needs very well. I had a set of Yakima Sweetroll several years ago for another trailer project. Those worked really well, but OMG they cost over $220 now! (I paid $133 five years ago!) It is absolutely work checking these out even though they are a no-name brand. I will NOT be using these to store my much heavier Hobie PA14, however, as they would almost certainly deform the hull over time. I am sure some have not had such a problem, but I already have a proven PVC solution that has had zero problems so why change. They do come with a set of ratcheting straps. I'll update once I get the kayak mounted and on the road if anything goes awry.

My kayak rode really well with these, but I had to carry it right side up (no big deal). The "feet" swivel easily and have rubber facing that grips the boat really well. No need to tie off front and back with an inverted "V", just one line front and back and two straps around the kayak and cross rails and it held solid for 1300 miles. My only complaint would be that the 16 bolts (4 each) were really long and I couldn't open my moon roof.

Great product and easy to install. Yes, the bolts are long but can easily be flipped upside down. I found this to be better for security while parked because when the bolts are flipped upside down, it somewhat hides the knob that loosens the bolts. I found loading the kayak was easier because the harnesses are flexible and allow for easy sliding forwards and backward. Highly recommend.

The rack itself is fine and would have been easy to install except the bolts that are included are too long for our Honda CRV. However, customer service was great and immediately sent us a shorter set of bolts.

I bought these to fit on a stock roof rack crossbar. They worked perfectly. Very very easy to set up, I would recommend leaving yourself about 15 minutes to make sure everything is just right when initially installing them. I do not leave them on the truck when not in use but you could if you preferred as they secure very nicely. The rubber on the mounts is very good quality. Overall very happy with these. The Kayak rides very nice and quiet and after several uses I have not had any issue. Just make sure to keep all of your parts in a bag or something when you take these off of your rig. There are 16 bolts and several rubber pads that can be easily misplaced if you are not careful.

Fits great in my aero bars. I love the way they are adjustable and can accommodate my 10 foot kayak. These also seem more secure than a J style hook (personal opinion) because I can use multiple tie downs to lock it into place. They are easily adjusted and fit my 2019 jeep cherokee cross bars great. I did trim all my bolts down to 2 inches because the stock bolts were close to the roof of my car (took only a few minutes to cut them down). I would recommend them to anyone looking for a way to transport a single kayak.
