There’s a lot of small variations in this type of product. I try to match it as close as possible without actually seen the new product in person. The lip that this product slides into is slightly different than my old original weatherstripping. My advice would be to heat the weatherstripping up maybe by a heater vent to make it just a little bit more pliable as I was working in 45° temperatures and it took me about a half hour to do 24 feet of length with a screwdriver and my thumb nail to slip it into the joint. My RV is 7+ years old and the old stuff was losing its flex to stay in the weatherstripping metal slot.As you have taken off your old weatherstripping, insert it’s advisable to tighten all the screws on your actual weatherstripping that are 5 inches apart as each one can probably go down another quarter turn
