This is an amazing internet radio in a small package. The best way to use it to its full capability is to create the internet account on their web site and then search and select channels there which are sent to the radio.hopefully the ChatGPT voice technology will come to this radio like the LC90, because that is amazing and the voice recognition on this is useless.I wish it had an easily replaceable battery. The fact that is a sealed unit with not having an easily replaceable radio is a big negative. Also a flip out stand would be nice.Very happy with this purchase.

This is the little brother of the Choyong LC90. The A8W is a little bit quirky but Choyong has a system where the firmware can easily be updated. They just rolled out a great firmware improvement for the LC90 and the A8W can expect a similar firmware upgrade soon.They improved their website so it is easy to add radio station streams. If little quirky problems bother you then keep passing by but just know that a firmware update can make you happy again. Also the developer of this radio is very active on the Choyong Facebook group and he'll respond to your requests or posts. It's a good community as well.

Pros: Small size, easy to set up, sounds pretty good considering the size.Cons: Apparently only has a 5-GHz wifi transciever, does not connect with 2.4 GHz wifi. This is a problem if you work in an older office like mine that doesn't have 5-GHz. Gets about six to eight hours playing time on a charge. Will discharge itself in a little over a week unless you use both on/off switches.Pretty amazing little radio but I wish I had spent a few dollars more and gotten one with a bigger battery and 2.4 GHz capability.

This is a nice little internet radio. The sound quality is surprisingly good. It is a little slow responding to whatever selection you make but I think it's a software based radio, and probably not the speediest hardware. But for the price, it works really well. I live in St. Louis but one of my favorite radio stations is in Saugatuck/Douglas/Holland Michigan. I'm able to use this radio to access that station as well as all the other ones on the internet.

This radio is really junk and is plagued with connectivity issues and freezes very often.The seller is very dishonest just wants you to buy the expensive eSIM data and keeps saying it will work better on eSIM. It’s a WiFi radio and should work properly with WiFi.

I wanted to like this radio. Unfortunately it is at the moment delivering a very poor user experience.The software / radio often freezes while using the knobs and buttons, and the only way to remedy it is by rebooting the device.The search function which is voice only or by region, is also not precise. For instance, the News Radio section shows BBCW and VOA and then pages upon pages of Russian speaking stations, which begs the question to what consumers this was built for.The battery runs out after an hour or so, which is terrible considering it advertises a 2,000 mAh capacity.FM reception is poor at best.Very disappointed.

I enjoy this radio . The sound quality for the size of this radio is quite good .I use this outside doing yard work an it worked well.I also used it in my basement gym an had no pri connecting to my wifi. This was very impressive as my home gym is 3 flights of stairs an on the other end of my house ..My house is 3400 square feet an brick .The hardest part of using this radio is putting your password in for your wi-fi if you have a long password.. It might take you a total of a couple of min. Setup is easy other than that . Easy to read bright display an I have had very good battery life ..I played it at 50% volume for over 12 hrs an power dropped maybe 10%. I would highly recommend this radio very versatile .
