worked fine in a 2018 MacBook Air that I left sitting on the shelf too long. This still worked and held a charge even though it took me almost a year to install it. Install is not that easy - consult a couple YouTube videos for different techniques removing the cable to trackpad.

Great price, worked immediatedly, better than OEM battery (according to the laptop and several full charge / discharge cycles). Impresed overall with quality and kit. This kit is great, includes what you need, have to say, the process is COMPLICATED - cannot stress that enough. I have 20 years IT experience and I worked my way through it, but I have tools and a lab and magnet boards and experience doing technical tasks like this. Also, it should be noted this is a complicated procedure because that's how Apple rolls. They don't want you fixing your things (because they think it's their things). If you have experience, you can work through it, if you have never taken apart a computer before... I would consider finding someone who has and pay them to do it.

Un seul bémol : la notice clairement insuffisante. Heureusement les tutoriels existent, mais il faut un autre ordi...Sinon tout le nécessaire est fourni : clés Tork 3 et 5, spatules, autocollants double-face et le résultat est parfait.Je recommande ce produit.NB : attention aux vis du Mac : elles sont très fragiles et il faut être minutieux dans leur manipulation.

The Apple Store wanted to charge me almost $300 to change my laptop battery. It’s only 3 years old, so I was irritated. But I found a YouTube video showing you how to change it yourself, ordered this battery, and 30 minutes later my laptop is working like brand new!!! Thank you!!

I bought this because it came with all the double sided tap and tool to replace the battery. It was very straight forward to replace the battery.

Changed the battery in my MacBook Air. Followed all the directions carefully. Went to turn it on and nothing. Pulled a part again and nothing. Waiting 20 minutes still nothing. I do not recommend this product. Can’t even use the old battery because it got damaged while taking it out.

I purchased this battery because my 2019 MacBook Air suffered from super loud fan and incredibly slow booting. This was diagnosed as a bad battery - confirmed by Apple's warning that the battery needs service.I ordered the replacement battery and and received a new battery, along with all necessary tools and adhesive tape, and more importantly, installation instructions with color photos.After I installed it but the laptop would no longer boot. When I contacted support, after some initial troubleshooting via email, they generously sent a replacement battery as a final test. The laptop continued not to boot or have any signs of life. This means that despite the fact this is a fairly simply replacement (only the speakers need to be removed and the battery and trackpad disconnected), I must have done something to screw it up.Despite the fact that this repair did not work out for me, the product and support I received was top notch.

I really appreciate the simple installation process that this product has included in its manual. I was able to follow the instructions, finish the whole process in the under half hour, and did not need anything outside of what’s included in the kit. I was uncertain about doing this by myself, but did not want to pay full price for Apple’s help, and I’m so thankful that I chose this product.

Honestly was shocked how relatively painless and easy this was. Given i'm an amateur it took me about an hour from start to finish as i didn't want to damage anything. 10/10 would do this again and save $300+.There were a couple tough/tricky spots to navigate but nothing you can't do.Plus is also seeing how gross and dirty the inside of my laptop is so got a quick clean out of it.

It's unfortunate that I bought a battery and after 3 months there is already a problem with replacing the battery. I didn't even use it, because my notebook was turned off and I only use it when I travel. And when I went to pick it up, it had a message saying that it needed to be replaced.
