Die Installation ist bei den alten MacBooks sehr einfach. Einziger kleiner Wermutstropfen, den fast alle Nachrüsten Akkus haben: er hat schon nach wenigen Monaten keine volle Leistung mehr geht teilweise bei deutlich über 10% Reststand in Standby.

Inizio la recensione confermando quanto detto da chi l'ha acquistata prima di me, ovvero la mancanza all'interno della confezione delle viti per il coperchio del Macbook (anche se quelle di fabbrica dopo 10 anni sono ancora perfette) e dello spudger per sollevare il connettore della batteria. Se il fornitore ha cambiato confezione aggiornate la foto del prodotto.Per quanto riguarda la batteria, l'ho installata da pochi minuti e funziona perfettamente. Per sicurezza ho effettuato il reset della SMC, PRAM e NVRAM per azzerare eventuali piccole anomalie magari dovute anche dall'usura della batteria. Ho sostituito la batteria perché il trackpad non rispondeva più al tocco ed il puntatore si muoveva arbitrariamente. Con questa nuova batteria noto un minor riscaldamento della CPU e del Macbook in generale, perciò al momento mi ritengo soddisfatto. La garanzia di rimborso è di 60 giorni e quella della batteria è di 12 mesi, se dovessi riscontrare problemi entro le suddette date aggiornerò la recensione tempestivamente.

Old macbook wouldn't run on the battery, and CPU would never go over 50% load after installing Windows 11. It was behaving as if there was no battery installed at all. Replaced the battery with this and while it did fit, it didn't solve my problem, so I returned it.Rated 5 stars for the name alone.

This battery came with an installation kit, which was so awesome. I had no problems getting it into my laptop. I followed the directions and completely charged the battery before using my laptop, and I even followed the directions for sometimes letting the battery completely deplete before fully charging it again, but I don't think that will actually preserve the lifespan of this kind of battery. Even from the very beginning the battery does not hold a charge very well. I don't mind because I use my laptop as more of a desktop; I don't really take it any place, and if it is somewhere else it's from my desk over to the couch and back again. I got this battery because my original battery completely died. It was a great replacement, and I wasn't asking too much from it which works out because I don't feel like it has very much more it can give.

This battery replacement was a perfect fit for my 2010 MacBook Pro (now running Linux Mint). I don't typically write reviews, but I was moved to let others know that how impressed I was with this battery. The package came with a regular screwdriver (that I didn't need), but also with a special three blade screwdriver needed for the screws that secure the battery in place. It even came with extra screws, just in case. My long term use my change my feelings on the 5 stars I'm giving this product. But so far, I'm extremely happy with my purchase!

I believe I purchased this item in August. I kid you not it still works pretty amazing. The battery lasts 4-5 hours. After my horrific used battery story last year from a different seller and experience with UPS, I warded off the idea of ever buying a new battery again. So I'd just run up the electricity bill by keeping my Mac on the adapter as I used it. I know. Idiotic. But I'm happy with this battery. I've since gotten a new laptop and I'm trying not to just push my Mac baby of 12 years to the side so occasionally I cut it on and the battery still holds true to 4+ hours. Thank you!

I bought this to keep a Mid-2009 MBP on life support as I waited for the latest gen M1 Macs to hit the market. The battery was super easy to install with the included tools, and it even came with spare case screws that are inevitably missing on these old machines. Battery life was pretty solid, about 4-5 hours of normal use, which was pretty much the same as when I got the laptop originally.However, after getting my new laptop and relegating the '09 to a shelf on a charger for occasional x86 work, I found it unplugged after last using it a couple weeks prior. The battery was completely dead and would not even try to take a charge. I replaced it with the original 13-year-old battery, which still gave the MBP about 30 minutes of power despite 1500+ charge cycles and several deep discharges. So this replacement isn't quite at that quality level, but probably would have been fine for a while longer if I babied it a bit more.With that in mind, this battery gets 5-stars for the support by the seller. Despite being near the end of the generous warranty period, they offered a refund or replacement after providing useful troubleshooting tips. Since I don't have much use for that laptop anymore, I took the refund, but I'll definitely check with this seller first for future Macbook battery needs!

2nd Update 7/6/2021:Recently replaced battery died only after 3 months AND I barely use my mac(only for DJing) during covid and AT MOST 20 hours total. Dead. Sent email to Joe from company (who was helpful for FIRST return/exchange) has not responded in 4 days. Wish I went w/a different company. So many headaches involved with having to replace and experience the laptop dying and not saving my work or project or anything. Super frustratingupdated 3/10/2021:New replacement battery arrived 5 days from email response from company. No need to send defective one back which was good. customer service was helpful and sent me replacement battery quickly and with little to no hassle. only problem I found was just finding email to reach out too. once i did some digging, the replacement started quickly. A+ for effort and A+ for quick shipping on replacementBought this for my secondary MacBook that I only use 1-2 times a week for about 3-4 hours total in 1 week. When I first installed, it was pretty easy and straight fwd. luckily there's plenty of youtube videos to show how to do it. Battery worked GREAT at first and was able to use (unplugged) for more than 1 week without having to charge.By end of January, I noticed the battery percentage dropping substantially during usage. i only use one specific app (no internet browsing) called SERATO for my DJ hobby. I now started to have to plug in power cord for my macbook during usage. now that it's 1st week of march2021, my MacBook can only be used while plugged in!Battery alert icon reads I need to replace asap. Such a waste, do not by this product.——-
