Maintenance
As a wooden instrument, the best humidity to store mandolin instrument is 50% and the temperature is 25 ℃. Please place mandolin in a cool and dry place instead of air conditioning room. Please DO NOT expose mandolin under the sun directly for a long time to prevent deformation and sun crack. If mandolin is free of use for a long time, the strings should be loose on a half to prevent bending deformation of neck from stretching strings for a long time.
Good Craftsmanship
Basswood body has straight, fine and even wood grain, it can level out the tiny sound, spread out the crisp and ethereal sound. The mahogany neck is strong and dense thus durable to bear countless practices.
Arched Back Design provides better resonate, making the sound crisp but ethereal. The solid Mahogany bridge is dense to fix the strings and has good vibration conduction.
Adjustable Action
With high action you can get a punchier, harder attack that projects, and if you want Monroe style with that dry tremolo, you need it a little higher. Some people prefer lower action for easier playability, longer sustain.

This mandolin is very good for beginners, if you plan to be the best mandolin player in the world, I'd suggest to get a higher quality right from the start , but if you are just curious if this could be your instrument, and just want to learn and see, then this is a good product to start.It comes with extra strings, 3 picks, a case and a tuner. The tuner is not good though, ok it's horrible, I used my own supersnark tuner. Also it's impossible to get the battery back out of it.I gave the mandolin 5 stars since, the description was accurate. It's definitely ok for the price.

Some of this goes the extra mile to look fancy, like the bridge and tuning pegs. But then the varnish is spotty and sploshy in spots and looks like extra care could have been taken. Comes well protected and with the needed accessories for a beginner. This seems to be a decent beginner mandolin to me, but I'm more of a guitar and ukulele player. I'd be happy to get this one to learn on, but there are definitely some eye sores upon a closer look.
