These styrofoam tiles are very very thin and delicate. I would even say wispy. If you sneeze they will blow away.I got them thinking they would be a more durable pvc or more sturdy styrofoam, but that was incorrect.The price was right for our project, so we ordered the bronze and are painting them gold, because the gold is definitely not worth paying $600+.The pattern is pretty, but I’m a bit concerned about installation and if they will hold up to the pressure to the ceiling…tbd.At this time, we’re taking a risk with them and I’m sharing this feedback to forewarn other budget DIYers.

Have not installed yet but did lay out on the floor. Liked the look so should be happy when finished. Using foam insulation to make border beams between tiles so not even doing much cutting of the tiles. Please note these are going in a manufactured home where a wall was taken out to give that open look between kitchen and living room without having to patch and repaint the ceiling. 👍
