Quite delicate; little bit cheaply made. I don't know if it will stand the test of time. I still find it an eye catching piece and am happy with the purchase. It comes with a mini case and mini stand as well, which are very nice touches.

is a really good reproduction of a bango. only thing i would change is I would haved been a tenor bango than a 5 streeg

This was purchased as an accessory for a plush KERMIT Muppet figure to be "playing" as he sits on the corner of our TV stand.I looked at this same and similar banjos on many websites, and settled on this one due to best price with delivery.Lets's be clear this is NOT a playable instrument. It is for display only! When ours arrived the strings were in disarray, but a few drops of crazy glue set things right. Kermit seems pleased! A tiny fitted case and instrument stand are included. We keep the open case beside Kermit as if he'd just taken it out to strum a song.
