I am a home mycologist and these little injection ports are super handy for grain bags and jars. They let you use a spore syringe without creating a hole for contamination. This is a nice package of these, they are sticky, solid and work well. I have had zero issues with any contamination using them, and they came intact (sometimes these kinds of adhesive on a sheet can travel poorly, but here they were just great). The only question I have is why there are 96 ports here, it's an odd number for a good product.

These are nice injection ports and filters. I've used similar items for years and they periodically wear out and need replaced and these are working really well for me so far.

If you are starting out in the adventure called mycology, this is a good set to have. For quite a low price, you will receive enough silicone self-sealing injection ports and filter papers to last your lifetime. It makes the work much easier by having self-sealing for being able to reuse bottles and apparatus every season. The filter papers are also handy for air holes to prevent contamination. I assume they can only be used once. This set is a good value, especially for beginners like me and the wife. Ihave no complaints about the construction or the functioning of these items.

I used some rye berries, soaked for 24 hours, then cooked for 10 min, then into the jars! You're supposed to sterilize them by pressure cooking the jars then, but I just sprayed the jars with alcohol before putting the boiled grain in. We'll see if that is sterile enough!These stickers worked great! The jars are sealed, but I can still inject the spore into the jars! Great product!

The quantities in this product will last me a long time.I have two inoculations going right now - two jars of pink oysters and one bag of shiitake. The self-healing ports and filters will allow me to reuse those jars. I have fresh bags in inventory, so I can now just slap on a self healing port.Very pleased with the look and feel of these products.Will get their test flights late summer. Will update as appropriate.

Perfect for making grain jars for mycology. Easy to wipe down with alcohol and they make a great tool for adding to your mushroom arsenal. Quite a few of each for the price, which makes a good value here--don't think I'll ever be able to use them all! I'll probably still put a piece of surgical tape over the injection port afterward, and you'll notice here that they are 3M brand which is fairly professional a name, I'd say. Will update if any issues with contam, but so far so good! These are a 5 for me!
