Fit perfectly. Still allows for use of the Tamron lens cap and lens hood. No impact I can see on quality of the images.

Nice filter, appears well made. Fit intended lens perfectly. Haven't taken any photos with it yet, but not expecting any problems!

Needed a very thin filter to fit under lens hood.....this works perfectly (with excellent quality glass!)

Overall this is a pretty run of the mill UV filter and functions as well as any other I have used, the main purpose of this is really just a protective layer of glass over your lens' more expensive glass especially in terms of scratching. What was different about this filter was the packaging was much better than I expected for a UV filter. This came in a hard plastic case with dense foam to surround and be below in the hard plastic case. The packaging alone might have been a portion of a cost of this filter and is a step above the cardboard holder I've gotten from other brands.
