It's better than the hoses that come with similar sized vacuums. The reason for the 4 stars is that it really isn't anti-static like advertised. I'm still getting shocked when sanding just as much as the OEM black plastic hoses. If I knew that ahead of time, I would have looked elsewhere. Overall it is good.

Got this for a router table, but the several included attachments accommodate many of my other power tools as well. Hooed right up to my Rigid shop vac. It is easy to bring the near end of the hose to the work, or to relocate the vac due to the built-in swivel design. All materials are of good quality and should last for years of use.Good addition to my shop.

This is a nice kit, with a 16 foot length of antistatic hose and a broad selection of adapters. It worked really well to connect my chop saw, and with some spare parts I had, I was able to connect to the vacuum's hose using click fittings as well. A second hose is used for connecting a few other shop tools as needed using the adapters. The blue antistatic hose looks to be of good quality, but it is a bit stiff. It also has a lot of memory. It wouldn't uncoil, and only laid flat after it was pulled in through the overhead to the chop saw. The old gray hose I have was stiff too when new, so maybe it just needs to be used a bit to break it in. I originally wanted to use this new antistatic hose with tools like a random orbit sander, but my old gray hose is more flexible. The click system makes life a lot easier, not only for making connections quickly; they also swivel, so you're not fighting the hose as much while using hand held tools. If you have issues where you need an anti static hose, it's worthwhile to invest in this kit. Yes, it costs more, but getting static shocks is no fun. It is a high quality kit that won't have you haunting hardware stores trying to find adapters, and should last a long time.

I've got a pretty small workshop in my side garage. I can't justify a dust collection system that costs hundreds of dollars. I thought this might be a good alternative at a lower cost. The hose itself is well-built with a generous length of 16 feet. There are 5 adapters to hopefully fit all your power tools that generate sawdust. The hose end that connects to your shop vacuum fits perfectly on my Dewalt vacuum. It's a nice snug fit. I connected one of the adapters to my Dewalt compound miter saw and it fit well. I'm sure the various adapters will work on my other tools like my router, sander, etc. One tool that it won't fit on is my Dewalt table saw. It has about a 3 inch opening. However, I'm sure I can find a reducer fitting to get it to fit with one of the other adapters.Overall, this is a nice way to collect dust on a budget. However, I think if they dropped the price a little it would be a great buy. I still recommend it. I just think it's a little on the high side.

The hose has a soft flex to it making it easy to work with. One plus especially for me is the vacuum end of the hose fit my Stanley vacuum perfectly. The various adapters are an excellent addition for fitting to a variety of tools, like I did with my Wen belt sander. The hose is a full 16" length allowing plenty of room for movement with handheld tools. Having given all the accolades, I end with this observation. The price seems on the high side. On the other hand, I don't know if the competitor's products have as good a quality hose or not, so it is not fair for me to make that comparison. Maybe it comes down to "you get what you pay for", and this is good quality.*** UPDATE AFTER ONE YEAR***This hose fell apart within a few months. The outer jacket started splitting in several places, and the hose broke at the connection on both ends twice. I cut the hose off and repaired it, but it continued to deteriorate. After one year, the hose was complete trash from normal use, no abuse.

This kit has a very long hose that has the right amount of flexibility, without the worry of kinking. It includes a number of adapters to fit a wide range of tools. The dust collection is excellent. The hose is a larger diameter than one I was previously using. The hose can be quickly removed from the tool with the press of a couple of clips. Excellent product.

I got this because it was offered on fine in exchange for a review and I had a use for it. For the $100 list price I was expecting it to be a premium product. It's not. It's just an okay plastic hose. I am rating this based on value for money and I think two stars is generous.Pros1. Decent 16ft length2. Has a variety of adapters3. Okay qualityCons1. Competitors' prices are almost 1/3 the cost on Amazon2. Hose does not fully seal at the connection to the adapter3. No instructions provided

I picked up this hose to use at my mobile work bench where I use my track saw and do most of my sanding. So far this hose has been an irritating experience. It is a little too stiff and suffers from some memory from being coiled up. The ridges on the hose consistently drag and hang up on the edges of my bench and/or work piece when cutting plywood. I may try heating and flexing the hose to remove some of the coil memory. I am considering increasing the radius of the bullnosed edge on the bench or just hanging the hose above my workstation to solve the hanging up issue. The hose adapters fit all the tools I have tried it on adequately. Time will tell if this stays at my work bench or just gets moved over to my chopsaw station where it won't be moved around nearly as much.
