I have never had a soldering iron, I have been using the sleeves to fit over my writing and melt/fuse the wires. But now with this kit and all the attachments I'm both excited and ready to up my 3D printer game with this kit! Everything came that was described and it came quickly! Appreciate the sellers timeliness.

I have been using a soldering iron for inserts in my 3D-printed parts, and I recently decided to buy something specific for that purpose.This Kit includes many other attachments besides the insert attachment used for welding and priming different parts. I like the idea where I can switch the element adapter from insert to soldering tip and interchangeably use it as a soldering iron or as an insert push.It has 6 different sizes of insert adapter which caters to most thread sizes, I believe from M1 to M5 I don't have all sizes of screws to try.The Priming tips are a lot useful in shaping the imperfections on the surface of prints.

I was in the market for some threaded inserts and these worked out perfectly. Easy to use with my current soldering iron and a ton of sizes that will be great for future projects.

This is a simple kit and useful for my classroom projects. However, it came with a variety of sizes of threaded inserts. But the pieces don't stay in their own container compartment. So the sizes are combined and so close together, it's hard to tell which size is which. I haven't had an opportunity to pull them all out to size and resort.I love the variety of tool heads. My class does 3D printing. These tools allow us to work with the printed parts for post-processing.The spring soldering iron stand will not stay on the table if the wand is insterted in the spring. It needs to be weighted or bolted to the table.

Got these to help with a 3D print build.Pros:Has a good assortment of different sized inserts along with the adapters for all of themCons:Doesn't fit every soldering iron. I'm new to using a soldering iron and luckily I got two different ones (the intention of one being cheap for practice and dirty jobs and the other for nice ones). The adapter here fits the one but not the other (it's close on the one but definitely not going to work).Price feels off in comparison to the option of getting this with the soldering iron and set up. I'm sure it's not a top of the line one, but you don't really need that for this, and while it doesn't have as many inserts as this kit it's enough to know if this is going to work before you buy a bunch, and this way you'd also know that the soldering iron is going to fit the adapter.Overall it works, but I think you'd be better off getting their soldering iron set and then their just inserts set.

very handy to have to use with 3 d creations. A must have to have on hand. Very nice selection of parts. Comes in a nice container to store them in.

Fit perfectly on my existing soldering iron! I love that it comes with a nice locking plastic box with each size in it's own spot. Inserts are super easy to install with the tip.
