Careful what you choose. If you are wanting the real Prodigy manufactured by TEKONSHA this isn’t it. I’m my opinion this is deceitful marketing as they imply the real deal unless you look much closer.

Ive had this controller since September 20th 2024 its now December 25th 2024 and ive used it 4 times and it has already went bad. Says output shortage after hours of troubleshooting and finding all the wireing on the truck and trailer are good now im out the money i paid for this controller. 100% do not recommend. 1 star is too many stars

If you need trailer brakes this is the perfect controller. my first one worked flawlessly for years. my first one fried in an accident due to where the damage was but very understandable due to how. I loved this controller enough to buy it again. this controller can be set for 1, 2 or 3 axle brake boost. You can adjust the amount of braking very easily with the up and down buttons. It even has a screen color option. When needing manual braking there is a lever under the bottom that works well as I have tested a few times. Plug and play; a Ford truck or van will have a connector under the dash in the far left corner. The controller says it should be mounted level. I'm not sure on how all of that part works but for ease of use I like mine mounted above the dash. I know everyone always mounts them under the dash but for me this is too hard to get to and see when needed. mounted on top of my dash I can see my control box working and instantly see if the trailer wire was pulled loose somehow as the controller lets me know if the trailer wires aren't connected to the back of the vehicle. I like seeing how much braking my trailer is getting as it makes it easy to know how to adjust up or down if needed. the quality if this is of the highest standard.
