I needed to fix something on the inside of my sneaker, and a straight needle wasn't going to work for this job. I was pleasantly surprised to find that curved needles exist!This is a great value for the quantity of needles you get. I wasn't sure if the thickness was going to work for me, but the smallest needle was ok. The rest of the needles are clearly more for leather or upholstery sewing. They're pretty strong, but I admit I haven't tested them on super hard fabric.I'm planning on reupholstering my sofa, and am really needing out at the chance to use these. The only thing I would have liked is if the curves were a little smaller radius, and if they had smaller thickness needles (I didn't have much use for the larger needles). For the price I paid, I really have no right to complain.

I use these needles with wax thread for repairing damaged sails and stuffies that were eating by my dogs. Good mix of size and little leather holder is nice.

Have already used the large curved needle to repair a torn seam in a kitchen rug. It was so easy with the right needle. All of the needles are sturdy. The eyes are roomy enough to use sturdy thread or ribbon. I found the curved needle that I used to be very sharp. So it went through the carpet like butter! Will definitely use the other needles now that I have them. Recommended!

I bought these needles for a plastic canvas project I was working on, where I had to thread the needle through a tight space and thought they would work. The needles themselves are exactly as shown and I'm sure would work for whatever they were designed for, but I can tell you they were NOT designed for my f fingers! A curved needle tends to wobble in whatever direction it wants to go, and I found it difficult to control. Now I have a package of curved needles that I'll probably never use again, but they may work for you. What I needed was a FLEXIBLE yarn needle that I could bend where I wanted it to go. Oh, well. I made do and the project came out great.
