I purchased this gravity filter in December hopping that my chlorine and fluoride will be eliminated 99% per say. We had samples taken and submitted to a government lab and after weeks of expectations , we just received the test results. So, the results are for Chlorine the MCL for chlorine is 250 mg/L.(mg/l=ppm). This sample does not exceed the limit, result is Satisfactory according to USEPA. The tap water that l have at home shows the MCL =4 ,which is considered max. contaminant level. So, this gravity system filtrates the chlorine only to satisfactory levels set by USEPA 4 mg/L or 4 parts per million(ppm).does not reduce chlorine to 99%. The test for fluoride from this gravity water filtration is Fluoride2.0 mg/L which again reads as Satisfactory. The tap water results from the city for Fluoride is MCL=4. Conclusion, whatever your tap water is detected with Chlorine and Fluoride will be reduced to Satisfactory levels. I did not tested for other contaminates because it takes a lots of money and time consuming. So, l hope you can read this post and compare your city water facts sheets with these results. Stay healthy. Not happy with the purchased.

I like it, but I think you could do better. The seal between the 2 tanks - well there is no seal. If you fill it all the way full (3 gallons) it will leak. The bottom tank holds 1 1/2 gallons and that is fine. Once you go over this point and start filling the top resevoir, that is when it will link between the area of where the top tank sits on the bottom tank. It makes sense that it leaks. I am not sure what other systems like the Burpee do to overcome the dynamics of the product. I still like it and didn't reach out to the Company - but I may still do that. I am concerned that because I leave the top resevoir or tank empty that my charcoal filters may not be working properly as they get dry. That's just a speculative concern. It was easy put together and I can taste a difference in the water and it tastes great! So that is positive!

I have tested a few of these systems and mostly they are all the same. This product has the same features as the high dollar ones but the filters are cheaper in price but give you the same clear water. It filtrates pretty fast but since it is two sets of filters it still cleans the water. I did the red dye test and like the expensive ones it came out clear and tasted clean. This was an excellent choice for the money.

I was looking for the named brand version but decided at a fraction of the price I might as well try this. I am pleasantly surprised I love the capacity. It’s much more practical for a family of 5. The parts are fully functional and great quality. The water flow is great. We fill ours at night. Just make sure you’re cleaning out the filters very well before using. We ran water through ours for a minute and a half the first time but the water was still a bit metallic so we went in for a 2nd flush for another 2 minutes and it tasted better. I noticed the water didn’t taste completely clean for about 3 fill and flush cycles. We have AWFUL water in Houston that tastes and smells like a swimming pool and is pretty yellow. This gives us crystal clear flavorless water!

This is awesome, every bit as good as the more expensive brand! Our friend paid $400 for the one they have, our water is as good if not better than theirs produces! We have well water high in iron etc. this is the best filter system. Our water is fresh and crisp, clean tasting! 3 gallons is perfect for our family and cooking. There is no leaking, no odor, and great quality parts!!!

The water filtration system by lceJoy is an exceptional product. The 8-stage filtration system effectively reduces 99.9% of chlorine and removes impurities like rust and heavy metals, making our water taste fresh and clean. The 304 stainless steel build is sturdy and perfect for both home and outdoor use. With a 3.0-gallon capacity, it easily meets our family’s daily water needs without constant refilling. Maintenance is hassle-free, and the filters last a long time. I highly recommend this water purifier for anyone looking for high-quality, safe drinking water. Plus, the 1-year warranty offers great peace of mind.

Bought this to replace the Zero Water filtering pitcher. This thing is not cheap, but it's worth every penny. First, it's made of fine quality stainless steel, unlike the Zero Water pitcher, which is made of plastic. We have read that plastic containers leak microplastics, which is bad for your health over time. Second, it's big! It's several times the size of the pitcher, which means no more constant refilling. (We measured the whole thing, and the stacked containers are 21" tall, with the tripod, it's about 26".) Third, this system offers superior filtering, and the water comes out tasting really good. This filtration system is far superior to all the previous filtration systems we've used (Zero Water, PUR, etc.).
