Lighter than an official Nintendo controller. But nice and works well. Hopefully the thumb sticks hold up!

8BITDO is BY FAR THE BEST 3RD PARTY CONTROLLER OUT THERE! At least from a casual gamer point of view. I'D EVEN SAY I LIKE THEIR CONTEOLLERS BETTER THAN MOST ORIGINALS! This controller feels FANTASTIC! The response is SUPERB! I haven't dealt with ANY LAG! The buttons feel GREAT & the joysticks are as SMOOTH as butter! The battery life is AMAZING as well! It connected with our Nintendo Switch EASILY & WITHOUT ISSUE! DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME LOOKING AROUND. 8BITDO IS THE WAY TO GO!!

My preferred way to play my Switch is in docked mode, but I can't justify spending the money Nintendo prices their Pro controller at. I took a chance on this controller instead and I couldn't be happier with it. It is so comfortable in the hands and feels quite premium, despite its low price point. I don't care for NFC connectivity as I've never seen the need to use Amiibo in my games, so the lack of that feature doesn't bother me at all. All the other features, such as six-axis motion controls and rumble all feel great. I have no complaints with this controller at all.

This 8BitDo controller has impressed me as a Switch Pro Controller alternative. The build quality feels solid - buttons have a satisfying click without being loud, and the analog sticks are smooth with good resistance and no dead zones. The pink color looks great in person, more premium than expected. The motion controls work surprisingly well for games like Breath of the Wild and Mario Kart, with responsiveness matching Nintendo's official controller. The rumble is decent, though not quite as nuanced as HD rumble. Battery life has been excellent, easily lasting 15-20 hours between charges.A few nice touches: the USB-C charging is convenient, the buttons can be remapped through 8BitDo's software, and Bluetooth pairing is hassle-free. The D-pad is particularly good - precise enough for fighting games and 2D platformers without accidental diagonal inputs.Minor nitpicks: the triggers aren't analog (though this rarely matters for Switch games), and the grip might be slightly small for very large hands. The back buttons, while useful, take some getting used to as they're a bit sensitive at first. For about half the price of Nintendo's Pro Controller, you're getting 90% of the functionality with some nice extra features thrown in. Just make sure to update the firmware right away for best compatibility.

If you're considering the 8Bitdo Ultimate C Bluetooth Controller for your gaming needs, especially with the Nintendo Switch, here's a straightforward breakdown after three months of use:Build and Design: The controller is notably lighter than those from Sony or Xbox, which might initially suggest a lesser build quality. However, its construction doesn't compromise on sturdiness and durability.Ergonomics: The controller is designed for extended gaming comfort, outperforming the default Switch controllers in terms of how it feels in your hands during long gaming periods.Connectivity: Be prepared for a bit of a learning curve with the initial setup, as the controller's pairing process with the Switch isn't immediately obvious.Compatibility: Remember, if you connect the controller to a different device, you'll need to re-pair it with the Switch before using it again, which is a slight inconvenience.Features: Equipped with Bluetooth, 6-axis motion control, a robust battery offering 16 hours of play from a two-hour charge, and responsive non-linear digital triggers, the controller is technically well-endowed.Color Options: It comes in various colors like Pink, Blue, and Orange, giving you some personalization with your gaming setup.Overall: The 8Bitdo Ultimate C Bluetooth Controller is a solid choice for those seeking a reliable and user-friendly controller for the Switch. Despite a few hitches in connectivity and initial setup, its ergonomic design and range of features make it a strong contender in the market. This controller is a commendable option for any Nintendo Switch user who values comfort and functionality in their gaming accessories, proving itself over several months of consistent use.

I must have over 10 controllers from 8bitdo including this controllers bigger more expensive brother with the charging cradle. This is your basic Bluetooth version and it works as well as all the others. Flawless connectivity, great feel in the hand and responsive controls. As good as any first party controller from Sony, Nintendo or Microsoft.Fantastic pricing on these as well and the new pastel colours are really nice as well! Highly recommended

Great quality and feels premium in my hands. I was expecting it to feel cheaper but it is a nice alternative to the Nintendo controllers if you want to play on your TV.

I'm a casual gamer. I don't play online third person shooters or anything super intense, but I'm big on finding products that offer good quality for the price. If you're a casual gamer like me, I can't imagine why you'd buy any controller but this one. It's solid and well-made, has good battery life, and offers some premium features like rumble vibration and the ability to turn on the Switch. The textured grip feels nice, and it's comfortably sized for both me (an adult with average hands) and my 5-year-old son. The buttons and triggers feel really great to press, and in general I just enjoy using it.Sure, there are few bells and whistles that some gamers will want (programmable buttons, etc). and I REALLY wish they'd release the Bluetooth/Switch version of this with Hall effect joysticks like they have with the 2.4G version. But this is a very solid basic controller that does everything I need it to and does it really well, all for a somewhat unbelievable price.I've bought two of these, and if I need a third I'll buy another (or if they release it with Hall effect joysticks).

If you're a casual gamer and usually play more cozy games than combat games, I think this is perfect in terms of quality. It's quite good quality for what I'm using it for (e.g. cozy games, Hogwarts Legacy, Zelda) - it gets the job done and the rumble is enough for me. Its battery is long lasting but I don't game hours everyday. I am a girl with small hands so I find the size perfect, and the texture gives me a good enough grip. It's very pretty and the buttons are good enough for me - easy to use and not sticky nor does it take much effort to press. I am very happy with this purchase and would recommend. It's very affordable and I think good enough for the types of games (e.g. Spiritfarer, Cozy Grove, Gris, Hogwarts Legacy, Zelda Breath of the Wild, Ni No Kuni) and amount of gaming I do (maybe 2 h a day, and not everyday sometimes).
