These look, feel, and perform exactly like the original joy sticks. Maybe even a little better. No issues calibrating them and fitment was perfect. They even included some extra screws in case you lose some during assembly/disassembly.

I replaced two analog sticks with these and so far all drift is gone and the new sticks feel solid. Note that the ribbon cable looks like it should go in further when replacing but it’s actually all the way in.I’ll update this review after a good amount of usage.

I got a used Switch, and half of the analogs had drift or were very rough to use.These new analogs were not very difficult to install using iFixit instructions. They really do look and feel exactly like the originals. I will probably end up buying more of these when the rest of my analogs inevitably fail.The rubber caps are a nice touch but I don't really use them.The tools are nice enough if you don't have your own. Many people have complained about them stripping the screws, but I had no trouble whatsoever. Take your time and apply enough pressure that the bit doesn't slip.

Works like a charm and feels more or less like the original. Tested it next to one with an original joystick, and if anything, the new one is a bit springier and more responsive (could just be because it's new). I've broken and replaced my fair share of joysticks in these things, and I even went back to an older one I put a new joystick in a while ago and replaced that one with an extra one from this set because it was much higher quality than the older replacement. The caps are a nice bonus. Install about as easily as any other joystick replacements you'll find.Pictured: One with a new joystick next to one with an original. Which is which? Overall, very pleased. The installation was straightforward and the switches did not require any calibration after they were installed. They to be just as accurate as the original switches and good tactile feel on the thumb pad surface itself. Time will tell to see how durable they are, but for now they represent a good value.

I replaced two sticks about a year and a half ago, one is still going strong the other developed a lot of play and lost it's ability to act as a button when pressed down. That said, the one that failed does get a lot of use/abuse so I'm not too concerned as they are inexpensive. Used the last two and they're working great, going to pick up another 4 pack to have on hand. Didn't use the included screws as mine are still in great shape, recommend picking up some quality drivers and use firm enough pressure to keep them from camming out right as you snug them down. The cable is a little longer than stock but works/fits fine, let it do a gentle bend but don't crease them or they'll snap, sometimes easier to insert and lock the cable before fully seating the stick.

These thumbstick replacements are a near match for the originals. It feels like they're a little stiffer (that could just be due to wear on the originals), and the throw distance is a little bit shorter. Neither of these significantly impact gameplay. Note that installation is probably a medium difficulty level for someone that doesn't regularly repair electronics. These replacements do not come with tools so you need to either already have them or buy them separately. Being that I do a lot of console modding and repairs, replacing these was pretty easy, and I'm happy to have fully responsive thumbsticks that support full range of motion. I had done the various "repairs" recommended on the internet fororiginal thumbsticks that are drifting, and I'm frankly amazed at how bad they had gotten, now that I have these to compare them to. I definitely recommend this product.

I bought these to replace a broken drift knob. They are an exact fit and work well. Much cheaper than replacing the entire joycon!! The installation wasn’t too bad. The only issue I ran into was the wire ribbon on the new knob wouldn’t fit all the way into the connector on the computer board. I tried several knobs from the replacement pack but all were the same. I pushed the wire ribbon in as much as I can and fastened the lock on the connector. Regardless…the new knob works fine.

My switch is old. And not only did I get the dreaded left joycon drift, I got the rarer right joycon drift. This is a 4-pack of thumbsticks, so if it happens again, I've already got replacements.The thumbsticks are very basic, just like originals at a fraction of the cost. It's a task to replace them if you don't have the right tools. I did, and these popped right in. The ribbon cable is a little longer than the originals, so it took a little to get everything repacked into the controller, but they work great. If I get a year or two out of them I'll be happy.I did have to look for a video to help me figure out how to get the joycons apart and replace the thumbsticks, the instructions (or lack thereof) didn't help, but there's more than enough resources online. If you have the correct tools (not included), and you have access to videos, you'll be fine.Overall, they're the right item for the right price.
