I was looking for some sort of inexpensive paper to use as an underlay to catch excess ink when I use stencils and to catch excess embossing powders and “perfect pearls” powders when making greeting cards and this paper works perfectly. It’s very thin and lightweight. The weight and color is very similar to newsprint paper.

This paper has a tooth nearly the same as drawing/construction paper. At the same time, this paper is strong. I tried pencils, which felt good going across the page. I could control the degree of pigment attaching t the page, but there could not be much layering of different colors at a fine degree. Artists will understand that this means this paper is god for chalk, pastel, or charcoal. I tried acrylic paint markers, which I found to lay down nicely as the paper is quite absorbent. I tried markers, which also soaked into the paper well and worked well on the paper. Interesting enough, neither acrylic or marker soaked through the paper, at all, even after many many layers. I would point out, however, that the paper did indicate some buckling under the water content of media used. I suspect that crayon would also work very well with this paper. The $6 price for 70 sheets breaks down to under $.10 per sheet. I like this paper and will work with it, in attempt to use it to its best nature.

The Mintboo 8.5”x 11” Cream Loose Drawing Paper for Markers is distinctly not white. It is a darker beige than it looks on my monitor. Monitors are all over the map when is comes to how "near white" colors look so what you see may or may not be what you get. I don't view this as a problem as long as you aren't expecting this paper to be "almost white". The paper has a weight and feel similar to construction paper. I haven't tried it with marker so I can't comment on whether it is particularly suited for that.

I ordered this paper to stock my 6 year old son's paper drawer. He is forever stealing all my printer paper, so I thought this would be great for him. He has been having fun using it! The size I ordered (8.5 x 5.5") is a great size for kids. He really doesn't need a full sized sheet of paper, so I feel like this creates less waste when his projects are eventually recycled. The paper is similar in color to traditional manilla paper, but it feels much better to the touch - a lot smoother and more uniform. All the edges are crisp and even. It is also thick enough to contain marker ink, unlike my printer paper. I don't have to worry about the ink ending up on the table underneath. Overall, very happy with this paper!

This paper is as described in the description. It's like traditional construction paper, which makes it appropriate for many projects. Primarily, I'll use these at a kid's easel for painting, but no doubt I'll find other ways to use these. It's basic, cream colored paper, but you'll appreciate it's versatility. I recommend it.

This paper is not what I expected based on the product description or product name, which begins as "Loose Drawing Paper for Markers." It's got much more texture than I expected, almost like standard construction paper. It's also a similar weight to standard construction paper - not particularly heavy-duty.It's cut cleanly and 140 sheets will last quite a while in our house. I expected this to be paper that the kids or I could use with alcohol/permanent markers, but they bleed through very easily and blotch with anything but the most smooth hand movements. It will be fine for pencil and crayon drawings, but markers need something smoother.

Great construction paper for crayons, can print on as well but is thick. Good price if you want a lot of this color. Durable.

This is relatively thick, tan-colored marker paper. I had my little one draw a picture in markers on the paper to see how well it handled it. As you can see from the photos, except for a couple of areas where my child "laid it on thick" so to speak, the markers did well. There was no bleed-through.Those couple of areas were a bit damp on the back, but I have to give them some on that, because my child kind of held the marker there and even redrew over it after that. She is quite young. She tested this paper to its limit because she's little, and that's exactly why I had HER do the drawing.Overall I would say this worked well. I will try it out a few more times and see how it goes. If anything changes I'll update my review, but so far I love these pages. We do a lot of art as we homeschool, and my kids always want to use markers (and I always don't want them to in case of the mess that can occur) so these are a much-needed item. Recommend!
