Buyer Beware!Let me begin with this:I love taking photos and I was very excited when I saw this item for sale. I love taking photos of sporting events but I am not able to take my cameras into the stadium anymore. I saw this and thought this would solve the problem.NO! False advertising is written into this"One-Hand Focus""Due to its compact size and lightweight, it's easy for one-hand focus adjustment"FALSE- This "One-Hand Focus" does not focus well and does not work well with the camera phone."Slide to Zoom In for Full Screen Results"There is a picture just below this statement that show a circle with a bird and then what the "slide to zoom in for full screen results" is supposed to look like.FALSE- Screen goes black."Adjustable Smartphone Adapter"Not strong enough to support the weight of the phone. This adapter does not line up the phone camera and the monocular eyepiece well by not supporting the weight of the phone."This monocular is suitable for various outdoor activities such as hiking, hunting, bird watching, hiking, camping, travel, ball sports, scenery viewing, concerts, surveillance, outdoor adventure and other activities. It would be the perfect little gift for any outdoor fan and nature lover in your life. Get a surprise gift for your family and friends this coming Christmas. They'll love this high powered monocular! "The monocular is not as strong as advertised and the images do not enlarge as advertised in the images attached to this advertisement.BAD BAD BAD!

First of all, this is not, in any way, a camera lens. It's a pocket telescope. This means it allows you to take a round picture filling about 33% of your phone screen, with a surrounding black border.Second, the supplied phone mount is shoddy. It does not hold the lens in place because the telescope is just to heavy for the mechanism. So, before you can take a picture, you always have to readjust the placement of the scope. The supplied tripod is adequate.

I'd hoped this product had an adjustment for my phone to fit properly but it does not. The phone holder is a fixed width. I will play with it and see if I can make a modified holder to accept the width of my phone so this monocular can be used as intended....which is with a phone. Without a phone at full magnification looking through the scope, its is a pretty basic monocular thats less than impressive. However, for the price, not a horrible little scope.

Yet to try outside. I used it through a window to see the bricks of the house. I'm not convinced that it focuses that close but I'll have to test it outdoors and see. It is sturdy and good quality. It is easy to use. I didn't get set it in a tripod yet. It comes with a pouch. Portable.

I have several high end telescopes & wanted a very portable scope for my iphone to help get closer to wildlife. The moon image is representative of the capability of this scope. For the price paid I am pleased. The accessories and construction is high quality. The optics are better than expected for the cost. The phone holder had quite a range of phone width it can accommodate using the spring loaded gripper. As I wanted it is extremely portable.

This monocular telescope was easy to assemble and understand all of its functionality. Although it is not a high-end telescope to see specific crater features on the moon it is very good for normal usage for most things, and it is at a very reasonable price. I, myself, use it for up close shots of wildlife using my phone's camera and it does a spectacular job at getting those up-close shots you see others post of your favorite wildlife animals. It is highly adjustable and stable for these types of photos. It does take a short period of time to get the adjustment made along with your camera for the perfect shot, but it can be done. You do not necessarily need to use the tripod stand for regular use (without the camera). That normally helps for that certain stable camera shot you desire to get or if you're just focused in on something in particular. Or, for the casual user it functions just as well to see things closer up while you're on the move. I love taking it out to the woods or on hikes to see better the things I cannot get to see otherwise. It also is extremely portable and can be carried quite easily. Can carry or toss it in your backpack. I highly recommend this product.
