I am not sure what type of criteria is used to say the weight it supports, but to me if this supports 50kg that means it supports 50kg without flexing or wobbling significantly. This wobbles with 20 lbs (9kg) on it, not even worth trying out with more. If you expect to be able to raise and lower this with any significant amount of weight on it then do not buy this.I didn't feel like it was worth returning since I kind of expected this for the price, and figured my son might find some way fun to play with it. I ended up getting a small motorcycle lift which works much better and supports far more than 50kg (and can actually lift the weight up and down as well).

This scissor jack seems to be well made and works great. I wish I had discovered it years ago. As stated by another reviewer, it is great for assisting in the replacement of a disposal. It was not designed for that, but it certainly makes the job easier.

It works as advertised. I needed it to adjust the vertical position of a speaker/tweeter in a special sonic resonance method test. It worked very well and is reasonably priced.

I got this to use to raise the cooler in my wine cellar to the exact height for installation. It's a bit heavy and too clumsy to install by hand, so this was just what I needed. The jack was a little flexible under load, but not such that I felt it would collapse. I did notice that the screw threads were not lubricated so I put a bit of white lithium grease on the threads which made them work much better.As a retired lab chemist, a jack like this is used to raise baths or heating mantles for lab procedures. It would work fine for these as those procedures require much less weight to be raised.

This product arrived completely unusable. The thing was riddled with flaws, regarding function and visual appeal. It was covered in scratches and minor dents. The metal connectors appeared rusted and were covered in blotchy yellow stains. Now during the brief moments while I still thought the product was usable, I immediately noticed its instability. The actual stage could be pushed about an inch in all directions and was easily tilted by more than +/- 15° bilaterally. These are all problems, but what really put the cherry on the dumpster fire was the fact that it had arrived with the support screw so stripped that IT COLLAPSED UNDER ITS OWN WEIGHT. This should constitute as less than one star for sturdiness. Needless to say this is now in transit back to China where it belongs. Sadly, I paid for accelerated shipping just to receive this item... and that money is truly gone. I'm a hobby chemist without a lot of funds, so naturally, the fact that I paid time and money for this horrific pile of scrap metal to be shipped from China, across the sea, over air to my capitol city, delivered to by doorstep AND BACK TO CHINA was infuriating. Also, imagine if I had trusted this product and actually used it... what if it had collapsed? Superheated oil very well could have been spilled everywhere and I likely would have sustained serious burns. I'm glad I didn't trust it.In summary: DO NOT BUY. I admit I am disproportionately angry when I should be moderately disgruntled, but this piece of garbage does not deserve your time.
