I added a bunch of drawstrings to some clothes that have gotten big on me and it’s such a lifesaver! They’re long and stretchy, easy to tie and I love how it came with a hook to thread them through the band of your clothes. It makes it so much easier!

You get what you pay for, I guess.Yes, the drawstrings are soft, but they're also flimsy. They lack solidity and feel cheap. The outer layer can also travel away from the filling, leaving the end sucked inwards, and you have to try to adjust it back.The drawstrings have regular plastic shoelace aglets at the ends, which are then covered by thin metal caps that are only filled halfway. You can tell that the outer ends are hollow, and the closure of most of the metal caps isn't even aligned well. I ended up prying off the metal caps from the one drawstring I've used so far, leaving just the plastic aglets, and I actually prefer that.I also wish the drawstrings were shorter. It seems impossible to find any sized for hoodies (like 35-45"). It would be great if they included a variety of sizes at least. I ended up cutting out the middle of a drawstring and hand sewing the remaining ends back together. It's not pretty, but hidden within the hood, it more or less works.

Used the cord to replace a broken cord in my very old LLBean hooded sweat shirt. The hard tip on the cord end allowed me to push the cord through the casing very easily. I did not use the threading device (gave only 4 stars because of that). The cord was more than long enough. Great deal (four lengthy cords) and great price (price at local fabric store was way higher and you only got one cord). Cords were white, grey, black, and navy. Three left over to be used another day.
