I thought because there were so many, I would save some money, especially because it said it would fit my filter. They do work and they keep the water clean, but the running water sound was so loud and the filter leaked everywhere!I finally noticed the water leaking a lot flowing out of the back of the tank because of how much longer they were, than the originals that came with the filter. I have to actually open them up, cut the entire bottom off of the plastic insert, for them to fit properly in the filter. As for the functionality they do work well, and they keep the water clean and my fish healthy and alive, and the outer parts are made well, the inside however isn't that durable as I can just score and snap the parts I need off
