Used these to switch out a fuel filter on my Ford ranger. They worked well but they were difficult to use since they are plastic. Hard to say whether metal would've better due to the force needed to get the job done. Nevertheless they do what they claim to do 👍

They work in a pinch but are pretty flimsy. I don't mind owning them as a just-in-case item. I much rather prefer the lisle set that I nearly use daily as an automotive technician.
