The bridge seems to be of good quality. All the saddle screws (6 x 3 = 18 of them) turn like they should. I can't say how it will weather over the years, but right now it all looks great.

Black paint is not conductive and the bridge can't be grounded - useless.

This is a well made top and bottom load bridge. The description states Top loading but there are holes for through body bottom loading strings. Top load means the strings pass through the bridge alone while bottom loading means through the bottom of the body of the guitar. The springs for the saddles are of very good quality and are seated straight and precise which I found while doing a simple alignment test, so when you need to adjust the intonation everything will be accurate. The metal is of good quality and will give you many years of rocking and rolling!
